A shaky breath fell from Lucas's lips as he raised a hand to knock on the door to Jungwoo's dorm. He clutched the skirt in his other hand closer to his chest before finally mustering up the courage to knock.

Seonghwa answered the door, a backpack slung across his shoulder. "Hi Lucas I'm about to be late to my class—bye Lucas," the boy rushed out before pushing past the taller.

After a couple seconds of Lucas just standing there awkwardly, Jungwoo peaked his head out from behind the door frame and smiled at him. "You didn't tell me you were coming over."

"Y—Yeah...uh sorry about that I guess I really didn't think about it," he rambled nervously.

"Whatcha got there?" Jungwoo questioned, gesturing to the item the younger was holding onto. The uncomfortable look on Lucas's face didn't go unnoticed by him, but he chose not to say anything and just let him inside.

Looking at what he was holding like he'd never seen it before, the room fell silent as Lucas tried to get a coherent sentence out. "Well—it's actually for...you," he said, stumbling over his words which was quite unusual. He pushed the item towards Jungwoo, trying his best to avoid eye contact with him.

"Oh my god..." The elder whispered when he took the skirt out of Lucas's hand. It was the same skirt they got at the thrift store, but now it was sized correctly and the best thing about it was the tiny embroidered hearts and flowers scattered all around the waistband. He kept flipping it over and over, trying to examine every little stitch, just when he was going to look back up, his eyes caught a bright yellow hue at the hem. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the small 'L + J' stitched at the bottom.

"I wasn't quite sure if you were going to like what I did—if you don't, I'm really sorry I know you liked the skirt before I did all of th—"

Lucas wasn't able to finished his sentence as Jungwoo put his hand over the boys mouth. "I love it. I love it so much, thank you."

"I also have something I want to ask you."

The shorter boy nodded before grabbing Lucas's hand and dragging him over to sit on his bed. "Ask away Xuxi."

"So...we've been on our first date already and I had a great time—I mean I always have a great time when I'm with you—not the point. Anyway, would you maybe want to go out with me—like be my boyfriend?" Lucas said quietly as he fidgeted with the hem of his shirt, trying to shield himself from any sort of reaction.

"Lucas, look at me." It took a few seconds, but the younger complied. "You don't have to be so nervous, of course I want to be your boyfriend"

"...really!?"

A small scoff came out of the elder, "Why are you acting like this? Do I intimidate you?"

Lucas shook his head, "No, you don't intimidate me. I was just scared you were going to say no."

"Then stop being so shy," Jungwoo said before lunging at the other boy. They fell back onto the bed, the smaller on top, the two kinda just looked at each other for a second before Jungwoo leaned down and connected their lips.

"I really like you..." Lucas said quietly when they pulled apart.

The smile forming on the elders face couldn't have been stopped. "I know," he replied softly before kissing him again.

✨✨✨

"Why so smiley?" Yeri asked when she saw a grin practically stuck on Jungwoo's face as he took his seat.

He wasn't even phased that he had to sit through a whole hour of math, all he could focus on was Lucas. "He asked me out!"

Her eyes widened before she asked, "The mystery boy that you were only friends with?"

Getting his notebook out so it looked like he was actually doing something, he nodded. "We went on our first date last week...I didn't tell you because I was waiting to see if it was serious."

"Wait are we talking about your boy?" Minho asked, leaning over the table to join their conversation.

"They're dating!" Yeri said dramatically.

A gasp fell from Minho's lips, "Oh shit! For real? Who is he?"

"His name is Lucas and he's a fas—"

"Lucas Wong!? Like the hot popular gay boy?" Yeri asked, a slightly confused look resting on her face.

After taking a couple seconds to think about it, Jungwoo shrugged, "I mean yeah but I don't really know if he's popular. I didn't really know him until a few months ago."

"He's popular because he's really handsome," Minho interjected. "Maybe you didn't know him because you barely leave your dorm."

He gasped, "I don't barely leave my dorm...I just don't get wasted every night at some random party!"

"Boys, boys, shut up." Yeri deadpanned as she waved her hand in front of them.

"I agree with her." Minho said quietly.

A small blush crept onto Jungwoo's cheeks as he nodded. "Yes, he's good for me. He's the sweetest boy I've ever met, and he makes me feel so safe."

"All that matters is that he makes you happy."

"He does." Jungwoo whispered. And he really did, Lucas made him feel like the happiest person in the world. Even though they quite literally just started dating, he felt like Lucas was the one. If he had to chose one person to spend the rest of his life with, he would pick Lucas without hesitation.
