Rivalry 09: Ingenuity.
Blaise's POV
"It was all a dizzying test given to the students. There was no buzzer. There was nothing. It was all just the invention of the woman."
Matapos kong sabihin nang madiin 'yon ay kasabay ng pagliwanag ng silid. Nagpalinga-linga ako. Halos ng mga estudyante ay nakaupo lamang at ang ilan ay nasa gilid. Axana quickly got up from her seat on the floor.
Mysterious people gathered on the side. There was an unfamiliar man who crossed his arms and seemed to admire what I had pointed out. Lahat kami'y napalingon sa pagbubukas ng pinto.
"How did you say so?" Pagtatanong ng babae.
Nagpabalik-balik ang mata nito sa hawak ko bago ito naglakad at tumayo nang ilang distansya sa akin. Her eyes narrowed and she rolled her eyes across the room until her eyes met mine again.
"This is not a buzzer." Mahinahon kong wika. I could see my classmates looking at the small camera I was holding. Nagsipag-upuan na sila nang ayos sa kanilang upuan. May mga pagtatanong sa kanilang mga postura.
"And you haven't spread anything inside this classroom, except this." Itinaas ko nang bahagya ang hawak ko at dahan-dahan ding ibinaba.
"Paano mo nasabi, bata?"
Napalingon ako sa misteryosong lalaking nasa likuran ko. Nakaupo ito sa upuan ng lecturer at nakatukod ang mga kamay sa kaniyang baba. Bumalik ang mata ko sa babae.
"Kapansin-pansing umalis ka ng silid na 'to nang tuluyan ng dumilim dahil do'n mo na isinagawa ang paglalagay ng camera na ito na nakalagay kanina sa iyong kuwelyo." The woman's eyes widened because of what I said.
Her hands crossed and her eyes seemed to be smiling.
"Sa kalagitnaan mo ito nang dilim iniwan upang walang makapansin." Dagdag ko at pinagmasdan ko ang maliit na camera.
"What the! Ibig bang sabihin nito ay nagmistula kaming mga tangang naghahanap, kahit wala namang hinahanap? Ano 'to? Kabaliwan!" Sigaw ng isa kong kaklase.
I sneezed and spoke again. "This is a kind of camera that works in the dark. And while it was on the table earlier, and in my estimation, you were just outside earlier while you were watching us using the gadget connected to this camera."
"What?! So tuwang-tuwa ka pa habang nababaliw na kami kakahananap sa bagay na 'yon?" Axana scolded. The woman looked at her.
"Shut up. Listen to him." Pagsusuway niya at muling tumingin sa'kin.
"How did you notice a hidden camera was on my collar earlier that I left here?" She asked.
My shoulders went up and down. "Because while we were taking the exam earlier, I noticed this camera flashing on your collar. At first I thought Ministry was watching us while we were doing the exam, but I think it wasn't." Sagot ko.
"At ang mga 'yan?" Turo ko sa mga misteryosong taong nababalutan ng iba't-ibang kakaibang wangis. Tumaas ang kilay ng babae.
"Isa lamang silang panggulo upang hindi namin matuklasan na walang kahit ano sa silid na 'to. In other words, you're sending them here to grab attention." I added. Then the woman was impressed based on her expression.
I turned to my classmates who were shaking their head. I can see Axana's admiration for what I have said here. I was shocked by the loud applause from the woman.
"That's ingenuity! Now you can answer the question on the last page. Congratulations!" Pagpupuri niya.
A woman came in handed the laptop and gave it to the woman. She motioned to the mysterious people so they removed the cloths on each side of the room and they went out together. I set the small camera down on the table and I went straight to my chair.
