Okay before I start, this is a HAPPY chapter. Basically I was listening to music and thought I should write about the wedding in the appocalypse. Yea :) feel free to repeat the song if the writing is long XD

Y/n's pov:

Today was the day. I get to marry the man of my dreams. So what if it's just us?

I had gotten pretty good at sewing things together due to the apocalypse.

About a month ago, Five found scraps of fabric and gave them to me, in case I wanted to wear a dress when we got married.

I also managed to use some of the parts from his childhood uniform to make him a suit. He was so impressed.

I sat in my makeshift room, putting on the homemade dress. It was floor length and had loose sleeves and an off the shoulder neckline.

I put my hair in a loose braid, for it had gotten long during the apocalypse. I was able to create a small crown out of fragments of jewelry that I found. I placed it atop my head and spun around in my room.

"At sunset", Five had said. On the beach that was just for us. Suprisingly, the ocean was still a thing. The waves still flowed and I couldn't be more excited.

I sat on the ground next to delores, waiting for Five to give me the 'okay'.

He wanted to give me the wedding of my dreams, so because of the 'groom can't see bride until their at the altar' rule, he was allowing me to put a blindfold on him, and then he'd jump us to the beach.

I heard someone clear their throat and I turned to see Five, his back to me.

"Are you excited?" He said, smile audible in his words.

"Hell yeah i am."

He pulled a torn-up tie out of his pocket and handed it to me, head turned in the opposite direction.

I started laughing and tied the tie to his head.

"Can you see?"

"Not at all."

"Then we're ready?"

"Do you have your maid of honor?"

I picked up delores and jumped onto his back.

Next thing I knew, we were at the beach.

I looked at the poorly-made altar that was built from concrete blocks with a large smile.

"Alright y/n, I want you to go behind a tree and I'll go to the altar."

Laughing, I did as I was told and watched as he pulled the blindfold off, messing up his hair.

"You ready?" I called out to him.

"I've always been ready, my love."

I came out from behind the tree and smiled at him. Even though it was a sad excuse for a wedding, his eyes still teared up.

"My god Y/n, you're gorgeous."

My smile grew even bigger and I reached the altar.

We said our vows, which we had come up with ourselves and promised to be there for eachother, until death do us part.

"What happens next?" I asked him, knowing the answer.

"I think the groom is supposed to kiss the bride."

"Mmn, is that so?"

He nodded, smirk on his face.

"You may now kiss your bride, Mr. Hargeeves."

"Why thank you, Mrs. Hargreeves."

We kissed and it felt as if the world stopped, just for us.

"We're married now!" I laughed out.

"That's kinda how it works." He said, laughing aswell.

The rest of our wedding day was spent walking across the shore, swimming in a probably contaminated ocean, and pure bliss.
