Hellooo! I am the author of this work, mostly known as May ^^

It's been years since I last updated this long series of ASEAN randomness and I've come back to officially end this once and for all, mostly for my sake of closure.

I started this book when I was 12 and kept writing throughout middle school. You could probably see from the cringe old internet fandom lingo and my fear of using actual swear words lol. I'm currently in highschool (11th grade!!) and I never expected for this work to have so many views and votes by now.

Whenever I think back to this work, I cringe a lot. I grimace about lot of things that I've written here. I must admit, there are a lot of stereotypes that I didn't understand and just used to write the characters. I only based these non canonical characters from how other authors have been writing them and just went with it. Those were lack of information and research on my part tbh. I dislike those aspects of this book and had repeatedly thought about deleting it to rid of this ugly past. But seeing it receive a lot of love from others had made me choose not to delete it. If there are any complaints of parts of this work, please do tell me and I can edit/remove it immediately.

Alsooo I can't believe that ASEAN is canon to Hetalia now!!!

Look at them 😭😭 They've come so far (Left to right: Thai, Viet, Phil, Singa, Indo, Mal)

So far we've gotten more than half of the gang. And turns out Timor Leste has been accepted into the ASEAN since November last year. How cool is that? I know younger me would have freaked out and immediately made a chapter on it.

The southeast asia hetalia fandom has been a great part of my life (and by far the cringiest too /hj /lh). Thank you all for your support of the silly stories I've made up, especially those who have been with me from the start. It is time for me to end this story. Who knows... maybe I'll write stories of the official SEA members now (most probably not).

Lights out!

- May
