Lunch was a lot more pleasurable after she returned from the restroom. She was glad, the twins had reverted to normal or at least what she was used to. She noticed something different when they walked back to the office or perhaps they'd done it before and she hadn't paid much attention. Both had their hands on her back as she walked between them. It was a possessive gesture even if it was subtle, they were showing everyone who she belonged to. She smiled, it didn't feel strange, it felt...good.

As soon as they walked into the building, they were hit by a group of people all wanting the attention of the twins. Sometimes she wondered how the twins dealt with so many people at once. The two rarely went out for lunch, but when they did it seem all hell broke loose when people couldn't get a hold of them. The twins had turned their phones off during lunch to give all their attention to her. Now they were paying for it. They told her to go back to her office in which she gladly did. She had yet to deal with anyone on her own, but she knew it would come one day, unless the twins preferred to keep her to themselves.

Kia was beginning to like her work. It wasn't so bad once she learned what to do, but it never ended. As soon as she was finished with one project, another one popped up and the emails and phone never stopped. Being successful and the most sought-after company was non-stop work. A person could easily forget to have a life. She wondered just how much time the twins spent in their office or at home working when she wasn't with them. Would they even have time to date her?

For the rest of the day, they were barely able to speak to her, meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Some of them she had to attend with them. By 5:00 p.m. she was exhausted, but the twins were still going. Where on earth did they get the energy? They were staying overtime which meant she'd be walking home alone. She didn't mind, as long as she didn't have to stay overtime.

She waved to them on her way out, but Bryan frowned and beckoned her to him while he was still on the phone. She walked in front of his desk. He grinned and gestured for her to come around the desk. Wondering what he was up to, Kia walked around the desk and stood in front of him. He suddenly pulled her into his lap and kept talking as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening.

Ok, Kia thought. This was strange. He was in the middle of discussing business strategies with someone and here she was casually lounging in his lap, well maybe not casually, she was nervous as hell. What exactly did he want from her? She could smell his aftershave because she was so close to him. Damn he smelled good.

"One moment, Kingston, I said one moment!" he yelled at the man on the other line and then turned around and kissed her.

It had happened so quickly; she didn't have a chance to stop him. His hand held the back of her head steady as his lips moved over hers gently as if sampling the feel of her lips against his. "So damn soft," he mumbled, "just as I expected."

Kia jumped up in surprise and shocked. "What are you doing?!"

"Getting that kiss we talked about, I told you Kia, anytime, anywhere."

He winked at her and smirked before getting back on the phone.

Arrogant bastard, teasing her like this...Kia thought, her lips still tingling from his stolen kiss. She heard Darren quietly chuckling at his desk. He'd been watching them the entire time. She glared at him and quickly walked out the door. He didn't bother to stop her.

Her face had to be as red as the lipstick she was wearing. He'd caught her off guard which was why she'd reacted by running from him. It had only lasted a few seconds, but still those lips were lethal. If Darren had been standing behind her and kissed her, she probably would have had a heart attack. He couldn't go around doing things like that to her. Give a girl some type of warning!
