Miles
I walked into Calculus and walked over to my seat beside Arson. I held my breath as a I approached him. I sat down at looked at the board. I had never told him I was mad about the Julia thing and still contemplated whether I should bring up. It felt like unnecessary drama and I was starting to think the only reason I was mad was because I was jealous... of Julia. I felt Arson's eyes on my cheek, so I turned to look at him. He had a wide smile, revealing his too white teeth and dimples on his cheeks. I quickly looked away thinking I would die if I didn't.
"Miles, Mercury, Carlos and I are heading to the beach tonight after practice, are you coming? You didn't answer the texts?" Arson asked. I looked back over at him and tried to focus on anything but how gorgeous he looked.
"Oh, sorry, my phone was off," I lied.
In reality I just couldn't think about spending that much time with Arson shirtless. This crush had never been bigger.
"Umm, I think I will be able to go. Are any of the girls going?" I asked to change the subject.
"Oh, we didn't ask any. Do you want me to? I don't really care but the plan was just to fool around there and chill. Carlos gets all weird around the girls." Arson shrugged.
The teacher got of her phone and then began the class. I couldn't stop thinking how tonight would play out with Arson being there... and shirtless. I saw Arson shirtless every day at practice so why was this suddenly so much more extreme, but the intensity of this crush had never been this big. Why was this crush so big right now? It was complicating a lot of things. I stared at the board but did not process anything written there. When the bell rang, I quickly shoved my stuff in my bag. I looked at Arson as he calmly lifted his books with his big hands and delicately set them in his bag. I sighed and looked back at my bag, picking it up and standing up.
"You have English right?" Arson asked me.
I looked back at him and nodded.
"I will see you at lunch." He said then nodded at me. I awkwardly waved and quickly rushed out of the classroom. He soon would be able to tell I was off, so I had to deal with this quickly. I made my way to English thinking of a way to get over this.
After school I made my way to the locker room to get ready for practice. I was in a bad mood since Tuesday's practices were always the worst. When I got to the door, I saw Elijah waiting in front of it, standing awkwardly with his hands in his pockets. I put my hand on the door and felt his sweaty hand on my wrist.
"I need to talk to you, Miles." Elijah muttered under his breath. I rolled my eyes and shook my wrist free.
"Whatever," I said. He grabbed my wrist again and dragged me down the hall. Once we were a good distance from the locker room door he stopped and stared at me. I freed my wrist and shoved my hands into the pockets of my jeans.
"When you were walking home with Eliza on Sunday did you make sure she wouldn't say anything?" Elijah asked me, he looked nervous.
"No, I trust that she will not say anything. She said, if you don't force Wren to drink alcohol, may I add that's fucked, then she won't tell. The deal is so simple. This is fully on you." I answered. Elijah was always so annoying. Good thing he was hot.
"I feel like this is going to get out. This is too stressful and not worth it. I ain't even into guys anyways." Elijah said, his brown eyes piercing into mine.
"Okay Elijah, I mean, my dick in your mouth the other day says otherwise but whatever you say. I got to go." I answered and turned away. As I walked away from him, he proceeded to call me slurs.
