Chapter Twenty
A week has passed since Pinkie killed Andrew. She hasn’t eaten in all that time and couldn’t stop feeling guilty. She heard the ring of her doorbell. A shiver went all trough her body. Who could it be? She hoped that she just imagined it but then she heard the doorbell again.
She went downstairs and opened the door. She saw a tall, pale, good looking man with yellow eyes and brown hair in front of her. The guy proudly smiled at her as if they were best buddies since ever.
“How are you?”-Pinkie asked the stranger.
“Where should I start? Do you want to know my name?”-Sven asked back.
“Yes name yourself first and tell me what brings you here.”-Pinkie answered annoyed.
“I’m Sven and your sister’s boyfriend.”-Sven said matter-of-factly.
“Ok, well hi Sven.”-Pinkie muttered trying to fake a smile on her face.
“Hi Pinkie, you look terrible. Would you mind if I come in and help you out?”-Sven said grinning.
“You are too honest. I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to come in now.”-Pinkie answered hasty.
“Let me guess, you killed your boyfriend because the moonlight shone you and then you jumped out of the window and wanted to kill me.”-Sven said in a convinced tone, grinning.
“It was you who watched me?”-Pinkie asked shocked.
“Yeah, you and your child can be safe with me.”-Sven stated.
“You are a vampire. Why would you want to protect me and my child?”-Pinkie asked curious.
“Your friend the witch will want to kill your daughter once she born because her true nature will show when she turns twelve. She is going to be the born wolf.”-Sven stated.
“Mimi will never hurt me or my child. You say that because you want her dead.”- Pinkie stated disgusted.
“I don’t care about Mimi. You shouldn’t trust her too much. “-Sven said grinning.
“Ok. Then come in, I can’t get rid of the cadaver myself.”-Pinkie said giving in.
Sven entered the house and went to the kitchen. He took a big garbage bag went upstairs and put Andrew’s body into it. He closed the bag and carried it downstairs. Pinkie started cleaning the mess and opened all windows lighting scented candles.
Sven was now almost out of the door with the garbage bag when Pinkie stopped him.
“Wait! What are you going to do with him?”-She asked concerned.
“I will bury him in the woods. Why?”-Sven asked her back noticing that she wasn’t pleased with the situation.
“Nothing, I just thought he deserves a decent burial.”-Pinkie answered sadly.
“And what will you tell the police, family and friends when they see how he has been murdered?”-Sven whispered.
“I’ll say he was attacked by a bear and I found him in the woods.”-Pinkie stated.
“Yeah right, you think no one will ask you why you didn’t report it.”-Sven argued.
“But I feel guilty.”-Pinkie cried.
“Well sorry Pinkie. I go get this to the woods buried and you take a shower, get dressed and go to the police station and report him missing. Maybe they will find him with dogs in the woods, maybe not. More we cannot do and you don’t deserve jail. Be careful and don’t tell anyone what really happened. If you feel like you need someone you are always welcome at your sister’s place.”-Sven conveyed her.
