Chapter Eight
Billie was slowly opening his eyes only to notice he was fixed onto a medieval iron chair with locked cuffs on his wrists and ankles, he saw Viktor’s face looking at him as if he were a dead rabbit ready to be cooked. “Our new friend is waking up, honey”-He called to Tess very excited. “Viktor darling, don’t be too hard with him please”- Tess pleaded. “You are so moral it’s annoying. He deserves it; he’s been rude to us.”-Viktor complained. “Oh I’m proud because you are so polite to everyone and are so well behaved.”-Tess said mocking and in an ironic manner. “That’s what you like most about me, right honey?”-Viktor answered amused.
This mock talk between the vampires made Billie wake up fully, he tried freeing himself from the iron chair and could see them clear now. “What is wrong with you two freaks? You must be Satanists. I hope I’m the wrong person for your ritual to please the Devil”- Billie threatened. “You have an interesting imagination Hercules but I must disappoint you. I’ve been living for 500 years but never worshipped Hell.”-Viktor stated. “My name is Billie, why do you call me Hercules?”-Billie answered confused. “Alright Billie, see I thought Hercules suited you better. I mean look at you, muscled moron, arrogant as if he were some kind of god.”-Viktor mocked. “Wow, and you think you better than me just because you are Goth, locking people into a cellar just because they don’t like freaks like you. Then you teach them Greek mythology. What next?”-Billie intended to defend himself. “You think you are smart. I’m not a Goth but they at least love my nature. And the mythology thing is not my field but pain is.”-Viktor said grinning.
“Your nature? What is that supposed to mean?”-Billie asked. “I don’t think I allowed you to ask me questions but as you are so curious, I’ll start by telling you no one can live forever unless they are monsters in disguise feeding on fresh blood.”-Viktor said proudly. “Oh my, you are a total psycho. I suggest you look up a psychologist and start therapy, so you learn some social behavior.”-Billie stated. “Tess come here and shut this moron up please. He’s really annoying me and I will tear off his head any second.”-Viktor complained. “Darling please, be patience I know you will enjoy your game more then.”-Tess said gently hugging him from behind and kissing him on his cheek passionately. Viktor took the huge wooden tweezers from the black wall which was covered with other medieval torture instruments.
Then he walked back to Billie and started pulling out the nails from Billie’s toes. Who screamed of pain with tears in his eyes and cursing Viktor. The blood of Billie’s toes made a big mess on the floor. “I’m still annoyed Tess. I think today is the wrong day or he isn’t entertaining enough.”-Viktor moaned. “I’m sorry darling.”-Tess wanted to console him. “Don’t pity on me. I hate it. Just hope you are hungry.”-Viktor stated. “Vik, I don’t feed on the living or at least not humans.”-Tess said terrified. “That’s so disappointing Tessie, no wonder you are weak, what do eat cats and rabbits for dinner?”- Viktor asked sentimental. “Yes, at least wild cats are rabbits are not being missed by anyone and I don’t to feel like a murderer. “-Tess stated. “Leave apart your morale self Tess, you are such a great being thanks to me and you could make use of more abilities that you were gifted with if you would take better care of yourself.”-Viktor conveyed her. “Are you trying to talk me into biting Billie’s neck?”-Tess wondered. “Just saying you takes so little care of yourself like a human slob that only eats fast food. You need vitamins and our case that is human blood which is best for us. Concerning Billie, it was just an offer.”-Viktor said carelessly.
“I don’t want to be a monster and carry guilt with me because I’m a killer.”-Tess complained. “Stop denying your nature once and for all times.”-Viktor shouted at her, and then he looked at her with doggy eyes sad and worried and made sure she was looking right into his eyes. She run to Billie, bit him and started drinking. She backed off horrified. “Merry Christmas Tess, you seemed really starved. He is dying, should I save him?”- Viktor congratulated her.”I feel horrible.”-Tess sobbed and shivered. “If you want to save him, go ahead, if you feel I should die, I’ll respect it and burn the cadaver.”-Viktor stated. “No!”-Tess screamed. “No, what? Please decide.”-Viktor answered. “No more deaths, no more monsters.”-Tess answered shyly. “Come on Tess his body has almost no drop of blood left, so technically you already killed him. If he shouldn’t die, I can only give him a new life now.”-Viktor explained Tess. She nodded and ran out of the cellar. Viktor bit into the veins of his arm and let the blood run into Billie’s mouth.
