TO PACIFY THE NEWS they did it the usual way. They kept quiet and watched as it all die down. She wasn't a celebrity, people won't be interested in it for too long. What took a while ay yung mga lectures niya mula sa mga 'elders' ng pamilya. Ang haba-haba ng mga pagalit niya and she understands naman kasi nga kasalanan niya naman talaga to. As for Andrew, Alpha must've put in a good word dahil hindi ito halos pinagalitan ng pamilya. Even her own father thanked him for taking care of her.

"What do you plan to do now?" Tanong sa kanya ng ama, pinalabas muna ng mga ito si Andrew. Iniisip siguro nila na baka di na ito involved sa mga plano niya.

"Nothing much. Kung ano lang po ang usual na trabaho ko. Madaming kailangang gawin kasi—"

"Alam namin ang mga plano mo sa trabaho. Ang ibig kong sabihin ay kay Andrew. Hindi kayo mag-asawa. We don't even know what you were thinking keeping up with this ruse." Sabi ng ama niya.

"I'll stay with him." May diin na sabi niya. "Are we conservative now?"

"Alam mo na hindi tayo ganun ka-conservative. But we have to know why you're going to stay. Is this a plot to get even?" Tanong naman ng Auntie Rosanna niya.

"Hindi po ba nabanggit ni Kuya Alpha?" She smiled. Malamang ay gusto nito na sa kanya mismo manggaling. "I love him. With Adrian, I don't know. Maybe I did love him too but at some point naging katigasan na lang ng ulo ko ang kagustuhan ko sa kanya."

"He looks exactly like Adrian." Her Uncle Luciano pointed out.

"No," umiling siya. "I guess somehow at first glance I think they do look the same pero hindi ko na po talaga nakikita. I can tell them apart kahit malayo sila."

"Well, I think my daughter is legitimately in love this time." Her father has a smile plastered on his lips, looking happy that she found a love that she wants to keep.

"No question about that. Besides, sabi naman ni Alpha ay mahal naman talaga ni Andrew itong si Bobbie. We should let the kids be. Matanda na sila to figure this all out." Uncle Rafael said, tumango-tango naman ang iba pang nandoon. "As for the news, we'll find out who leaked it. In the meantime, sundin mo muna ang strategy na sinabi ni Athena. Alright?"

"Thank you Uncle, sa inyong lahat po. Thank you for understanding me and Andrew." She smiled.

"Hay nako, kayong mga bata talaga. Iniisip niyo na kaya niyo na lahat. We can still be of help sometimes." Sabi naman ng tatay niya. "Especially me to you, you're my daughter."

"Sorry dad," she apologized. "But if I told you right off the bat. I wouldn't have found this. I'm not usually this soft but I'm really, really happy right now."

"And I'm happy for you, we all are. Akala namin wala nang makakabasag diyan sa matigas na pader sa paligid mo." Her father laughed along with everybody there. "You don't have to be tough all the time my dear."

"I know that now dad," Bobbie smiled. "Sorry po sa inyong lahat na nakisabay pa ako sa problema when Kuya Kairos' is still going through a whole lot."

"It's not your fault hija, huwag mo nang isipin." Alo sa kanya ng Auntie Kamila niya. "Kairos told me about Andrew helping with Mikee when they got into the accident. He's a good person."

Andrew has already built a good rapport with her family and she's extremely happy about this. She's found the calm in her life, finally.

Pero makatapos ng mahinahon na usapan kasama ang pamilya niya ay ang galit na galit naman na pagdating ng stepmother nina Adrian at Andrew ang kinailangan nilang harapin. She had the nerve to barge into their home and wreck havoc there.
