DAY 2
This is their second day together pero hindi pa din sila halos nakakapag-usap.
"Bobbie," he said, acknowledging her. "Gusto mo na bang kumain?"
"Paninindigan natin tong lokohan na to?" She laughed. "I never knew na you were as greedy as your brother pala. Sabagay, magkapatid nga pala kayo. I'd probably hate all Adrians from here on out because of the two of you."
She will not be someone who will give in dahil lang sa pagkain. She is well and capable of feeding herself kahit na saan, kahit na kailan.
They weren't supposed to have visitors.
"Please tell me na pagkain yan kasi you ordered from room service, and not people." Tiningnan niya si Andrew pero it was evident in his face na he was equally surprised and clueless as she is. "Damn it."
"Adrian, ang mama mo ito." Damn it. Naloko na. She's the mother for sure ay tapos na ang wedding high at makikilala na nito si Andrew. Twins will make a difference to any mother right?
"Wag mong bubuksan. They can think na we're just sleeping in or having sex. They can decide." As if naman newly married couples do anything else, right? "What? People who just got married are like rabbits."
"Adrian, Bobbie..." ayaw talagang magpapigil nito.
"She'll just knock and ring the bell until we answer."
Well, yung Adrian dito? You're Andrew." She said, as agitated as the one knocking on the door.
"She never noticed yesterday." May lungkot sa boses nito. He was right, which was odd. How can a mother not recognize which is which?
"Well, there was that wedding high yesterday unlike today." Sabi niya dito.
"She won't notice, with or without that. Matagal na mamin tong ginagawa ni Adrian." Sabi na lang nito. The consistent knocking on their door is really annoying.
"Damn it," napasabunot siya sa buhok niya. Ang aga-aga naman kasi. "Your whole family is making ng head ache more. Buksan mo na. Keep it short. Sabihin mo nagha-honeymoon pa tayo. Sabihin mo we like doing it, a lot."
"Stop talking about sex Robina." Ma-otoridad na sabi nito.
"Whatever, just open the stupid damn door." And Andrew did. "And it's Bobbie, not Robina."
"Good morning sa inyong dalawa." "I just wanted to say hi bago ako umalis papuntang America.
She moves as though the earth revolves around her.
"You look like you had a good night."
