"Bye! It was fun hanging out with you!" Kendra called.
"Sames. See you guys some other time." I called and they waved as Natasha drove off.
I walked into my house and looked around.
Luke was seated on the sofa watching Netflix, to be precise he was watching ' Martians rule '.
"Hey..." I said and he turned. "Oh hey. Where were you?" He asked.
"Out with friends." I responded.
"What friends? I was with Tara." He raised a brow.
I frowned.
"You were with Tara?" I asked and he looked away from me. "That wasn't the question I asked.
"Who cares about your question? What happened with you and Tara? How did y'all meet?" I asked.
"Well...she called and said she wanted to see me, so we met up at Dina's diner and she spoke to me." He said.
"About?" I asked sitting next to him.
He sighed leaning against the arm rest.
"Harvey, me, and all that." He said.
"She chose Harvey right?" I asked.
He glanced at me and nodded.
"I'm sorry." I said feeling bad for him.
"It's fine I guess. I don't really deserve her anyways." He muttered.
"Don't say t-" I paused. "Is that about what Harmony said?" I asked.
He shrugged. "She didn't mean it, she didn't know you were-" I began but he cut me off.
"That I'm a changed person? The fact was I once a jerk to you and everyone knows. Changed or not, I once did it and I was never meant to do it. I was just- whatever Mia." He got up and went up the stairs.
I followed but I went to my room and locked to door.
I'm exhausted. I can't think about all that right now.
I freshened up and got changed to my "pyjamas" which was simply yellow and white striped shorts and a yellow spongebob top.

Next morning.
"Mia. Get up." A voice said.I opened my eyes and stared at Luke who was leaning against my door.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm going to school." He said.
"Well bye. Since when did that concern me? Last time I checked I'm being homeschooled." I said.
He rolled his eyes.
"Tara is downstairs. I'll see you in the evening." He said and left.
I groaned getting up.
I left my room and trailed down the stairs.
She was standing at the bottom of the stairway.
"Hey. You're not going to school?" I asked reaching her.
"I'm gonna go. Mia, I picked Harvey." She said.
I nodded. "Figured. Luke's not been in his best mood. But anyways that's great." I said.
"Do you....think I made the right choice?" She asked.
"Uhm....I don't know. I mean it's all on you." I shrugged.
"Mia! Don't talk like that. I just need a little reassurance." She said looking at me with the most desperate look on her face.
"Honestly Tara, I've got no opinion on it all." I said.
