Eventually we got to Kurland high school.

We had a slight a set back with the car but we are here now.

I stepped out of the car with mom and silently side by side we walked into the school, through the hallways the the back of the school.

A lot of people were around. Friends, family, students, teachers.

We finally went out through the back door and it was even more chaotic there.

Students in their graduation gowns rushing about and squealing with friends.

"Mia!" Tara yelled. Lillia who was next to her turned and saw me then she walked away.

Tara made a face behind her back making me laugh.

"Hey T!" I squealed as she rushed over to me.

She gave me a really tight hug. "I'm so happy." She said.

"You are supposed to be girl!" I replied hugging her back.

"Oh hello Mrs. Davila!" Tara said too cheerful to care that my mom was here.

"Hello Tara dear. How's it going?" Mom asked absent-mindedly as she looked around the nicely decorated field.

"It's going great." Tara replied snapping mom's attention back to us.

"Boo" a voice said behind me and I turned smiling.

"Hey." I smiled shyly cause my mom was here but I wanted her to know we were dating anyways.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, lifted me slightly off the ground and spun me round before placing me down carefully and planting kisses all over my face while I giggled.

Mom cleared her throat and Max turned to her.

"Oh. Kelsey. Hey." He said frowning slightly.

"Hey Max." Mom said with a tight voice but she didn't say nothing else.

"Come on, let's go get you seats." Tara said to I and mom.

"They can sit right behind our row." Max said.

"Oh yeah." Tara nodded. "Where's Matty, Luke and Harvey?" I asked.

"They went for food." Max said taking my hands and leading me with mom behind me and Tara ahead to the row we were to sit at.

"Here. That's my seat in front of you Mia." Max said.

"Okay. Where are you going?" I asked.

"I need to get my printed speech from the library. Kian helped me re-print it, I had to change a couple of things." He said.

"Oh okay. Can I come?" I asked and he nodded turning to a guy who had called him.

"Mom will you wait here?" I turned to her.

"Sure." She said and I nodded dropping my bag next to her but I took out my phone.

Max nodded at the guy and he left.

"The stuff is starting in 15minutes." He said pulling me with him.

"I'll join the guys at the food table!" Tara called behind us.

"Okay!" We called back.

Max led me back into the school and through the crowd to the library.

A few guys were there already chatting loudly and two amongst them were smoking. There was no teacher in the library at the moment.

"Yo Max!" Some called. Max stopped.

"Hey guys" He said giving everyone of them bro shakes.

"Kian left the paperwork on the desk over there." One of them said as Max shook him.
