"He-llo?" Tara called and I looked over at her.
She was seated on the rug at the center of my room.
She was still giving me a bit of silent treatment but I was to giddy and excited over my new relationship status to care.
I would've told her if she would be corporative but the girl's got sass in her.
"Yeah?" I said. "What is up with you?" She asked.
"Nothing. Why?" I asked spinning my chair around to her and kicking my legs over my bed.
"You're happy." She said. "Is that wrong?" I responded.
"No. It's just... I'm mad at you and here you are being all happy and giddy and all that." She said.
Her phone rang before I could reply.
She picked it. "Hey Harvey." She said into the phone.
"Oh? I didn't know." She frowned glancing at me.
"We aren't on the best terms." She shrugged.
I cocked my head to the side. If she's really mad she won't be here right now.
"She told you?!" She suddenly exclaimed passing me a glare.
I frowned. Oh. I told Harvey about I and Max and he probably just told her.
"Yeah. How about tomorrow?" She asked picking on a loose thread from her hand sewn skirt.
"Bye." She said and hung up.
"MAX ASKED YOU TO BE HIS GIRLFRIEND?!!!!" She exclaimed.
"Well yeah. Last night." I said.
"Dude?! Why didn't you tell me?!!" She asked and I shrugged.
"You're mad at me aren't you?" I asked.
"That doesn't matter." She rolled her eyes.
"Firstly, what did you wear?" She asked.
I pointed at my dirty laundry and she went to it pulling out the outfit folded together on the top.
"Impressive. So where did he take you to?" She asked.
"Sun fry." I replied smiling at the thought of the restaurant.
"Uhm what's that?" She asked. "It's this really cute restaurant. You neeed to go there honestly Tars. It's the best restaurant to that I've ever been to!" I gushed.
She smiled. "That's cool."
"Really cool. So yeah he took me there and after all the funs. By the car he asked me to be his girlfriend!!" I squealed.
"That's awesome!!" She said. "Right?" I smiled looking out.
"So what's gonna happen next?" She asked. "You guys graduation next week." I shrugged.
"Have you forgotten? Your birthday?" She asked.
"Oh. Right before the grad." I said.
"Yeah. You gonna be in the 19 gang with me." She smiled.
I nodded scratching at my desk with my nails.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I think my parents are coming back next week. My dad is sick." I said.
Tara let out a loud groan. "Whyyyyy can't they use hospitals over there?!" She exclaimed.
"That was what I asked. Apparently dad trusts his hospital here better." I rolled my eyes.
