You remember Nat? From McDonald's?
Well her school is the opposing team tonight and they're awesome players according to records.
She's the one taking me to the game cause the guys and Tara have been in school since school closed.
They're gonna be having their last minute practicing.
I already sent Nat my address and she should be here any minute.
I picked my knapsack and my phone and went down the stairs.
"Would you eat something before leaving?" Grace asked coming behind me which made me jump.
"Geez." I muttered.
We both walked into the kitchen.
"I made sausages." She said.
"I'll have one." I said removing the foil over a tray of steaming sausages.
I picked one and Grace covered the rest.
Just then I heard a honk outside.
I rushed to the refrigerator, got out a can of Dr. Pepper and waved Grace bye.
Then I left.
I saw a blue Honda outside with Nat in it.
"Hey!" She chirped as I opened the passengers door and got in.
"Whash poppin?" I asked with my mouth full of half the sausage.
"I'm good. Been a while hm?" She asked driving off.
"Yea.." I nodded as I finished up what I was eating and opening the can of Dr. Pepper.
"How're you and Max?" She asked and I shrugged.
"Hmm. Y'all fought?" She chuckled.
"You could call it that." I said.
"So then why're you going to his game?" She asked with a little smirk on her face.
"To talk to him." I answered.
"Hm. I see." She nodded.
"No wonder you look sexy and all." She added and I rolled my eyes.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" I asked.
"No?" She responded.
"What? And you're a cupid?" I laughed.
"Not all cupids have boyfriends. Anyways I'm just kidding I've got a lovely boy on my arm. Jace." She said dreamily.
"Do you actually have him or you're just imagining?" I asked raising a brow.
She laughed.
"Jace is my boyfriend. He's a college student though so he's far from me now." She sighed.
