"Yassss!!!!" Hayley shrieked dancing in a really weird way.

We won. 5-4.

"Do one of those romantic things where you run off to the guy on the field and kiss him in front of everyone!" Kendra squealed.

I bit my lip and looked at Max who was talking to Matteo.

"I'm not doing that but I'll be back." I said and got off the bleachers.

I walked up to them, gotta go congratulate them.

"Congratulations!" I squealed and Matteo jumped while Max turned.

"Hey Mia!" Matteo said hugging me tightly.

"Ew! Sweaty sweaty!" I shrieked and both boys laughed.

Matty let go and someone called him so he had to leave.

"See you!" He said and ran off.

"Thank you so much for today." Max said turning fully to me.

"For?" I asked wrapping my arms around his torso and looking up at him.

"The speech." He smiled.

"We all needed it. Can you see how happy everyone is? Well minus the opponents." I said.

"I guess... You wanna come for the after party tonight?" He asked.

"Yea..sure." I smiled.

"Guess who's throwing it?" He asked.

"You." I said and he raised a brow. "Yeah" He laughed.

"Normals" I said.

"According to Tara, the captain of the winning team has to throw a party after the game." He said.

"True that, ugh you're really sweaty and my arm is wet now" I said scrunching up my face.

"But you love it." He smirked.

"Don't get dirty man." I said and he laughed.

"So you'll come?" He asked.

"You're my ride." I said and he nodded.

"I'll see you soon yeah? If you could go to the Mercedes and wait for me, that'll be faster so I don't have to look around for you." He said.

"Alright, see ya!" I said.

He pecked my cheek before leaving.

My cheeks probably turned the brightest shade of red.

I kissed Max Kings my supposed best friend.

I smiled to myself and turned around to leave, only to see Tara and the whole cheer leading squad staring at me.

Most of them had jealous looks, Kate looked like she was gonna kill me and Tara looked overly excited.

She squealed and ran to me.

She wrapped her arms around me tightly and I chuckled hugging her back.

"You guys would be so cute together!" She squealed, I laughed.

"Where's Nat?" She asked randomly releasing me. I turned to the row we were on.

"I think she's gone. She was meant to call or text me though" I said.

She shrugged nonchalantly.

"Can I ride with you and Max? I didn't bring my car to school today, its defective so Luke came to pick me up but I guess he's to busy with Kate now.." She said looking at something behind me.
