Day 23.
Saturday.
"Mia?" Max came in and I looked up with a smile. "Hey!" I chirped. He went for soccer practice, he's just returned.

"Oh, there you are. What's poppin'?" He sat next to me and peered over at my laptop.

"I'm completing an assignment." I said. "Has it been only you here today?" He asked.

"Sorta. Luke was here but he's still mad at me for not telling Tara to be his girlfriend and he keeps threating to call my mom." I said.

Max laughed. "Trust me, he won't tell her." He said and I shrugged frowning.

"Anyways do you uhm wanna go out with me tonight?" He asked and I turned to him shutting the laptop a bit to hard.

"W-what?" I stuttered not getting the message.

"Will you go out with me tonight?" He asked slowly like he was talking to a baby and I rolled my eyes. "So?" He added.

"Wow yeah!" I chuckled feeling weird in my stomach.

"Great! Tara would be here by 6 probably right? and I'll be here by 7 to pick you up." He said.

"Yea..Okay! So uhm what do I wear?" I asked. "Casual? Tara would take care of it I'm sure." He answered.

I had one more question. A big one actually. One that will make things change in my head.

"Uhm Max is this like a date or something..?" I asked

He smirked. "Its a date. So I'll see you?" He asked getting up. He literally just came.

"Yea. 7." I said a bit shyly... is that weird? I'm all of a sudden shy...

Does he like m-... No, what of Kate?

From Tara I heard that he and Kate have been having issues but he hasn't broken up with her. Also according to Tara, its obvious Max doesn't like Kate but he has refused to break up with her so Tara feels there's something else going on...

But that's not the point! Max Kings just asked me out on a date!!!! This gonna be fun!

I grinned to myself and I seriously couldn't wait for Tara to come. I went up the stairs and rushed into the bathroom to have a shower before she comes.

"Boo!" A voice yelled barging into my room and I jumped turning to Tara.

"Hey! You scared me!" I exclaimed. "Sorry. So what's popping?" Tara asked.

"You'll not believe what happened!" I squealed.

"What? What?" She laughed. "Max!" I squealed.

"What happened to Max?" She asked.

"He asked me out!" I said.

She fell to the floor dramatically and I laughed.

"You need to help me Tara" I exclaimed. "Oh my goodness, this is the greatest news I've heard in a long time." She squealed as I helped her off the floor.

We both jumped and squealed together for a minute.

"Fast! Let's check your closet for something cute." She said rushing past me to my closet.

She paused when she was about to get into the closet. "Uhm..did he say what you should wear?" She asked. "Casual." I responded and she grinned getting into the closet.
