Day 8
"How did they become your friends?" Luke asked looking up from his video game.

"Max introduced them to me." I said quietly and he frowned.

"When?" He asked. "Friday." I answered.

"They came to our house on Friday?" He asked.

"No..I went to Kate's party." I mumbled not sure of show he'll react.

His eyes widened.

"Ohhh this is good source for mom and dad." He smirked.

"What? No please Luke. Don't tell on me" I begged.

"What will you do for me then? To make me not tell them you went for a party" He asked smiling creepily.

"N- I don't know." I muttered.

"Well...do you wanna know what I want you to do?" He said.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked.

"Get Tara to date me." He smirked and I gasped.

He nodded, dropped the controller on the couch and left the living room.

"What the fudge...?" I muttered.

"Hey. " Tara came in with Max behind her.

"Hey guys." I said.

Max went into the kitchen not saying anything to me.

"What's up with him?" I asked.

"He and Kate kinda fought." She said.

"Why?? Over what?" I asked.

"Matteo mistakenly spoke about you at the cafeteria and uhm Kate heard so she demanded to know who you were and Max told her you were is friend, and one way or the other she got to know he's always at your place so...uhm yea!" She nodded satisfied at her response.

"So I caused all this?" I asked feeling guilty.

"Uhm...no, Matty did." She shrugged.

"I'm the real cause Tara! Matty only made a mistake." I whisper yelled.

"I don't get why you're stressing your little brain." She shrugged.

I raised a brow.

"Did they break up?" I asked. "No, unfortunately." She pouted.

"Thank Goodness." I said.

She shrugged sitting on a sofa and pulling out her books from her bag.

"I'm not helping today." I said.

"No problem, Harvey helped with the difficult ones during my free period." She responded and I eyed her suspiciously sitting on a sofa opposite her.

"Don't even think of it." She said and I smiled.

Max entered the living room with a tube of ice cream, he had a slight pout on his face as he slumped next to me.

"Heard what happened and I'm so sorry." I said.

He shrugged.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked.

He sighed and shook his head.

"He's lying." Tara said. Max glared at her.

"Anyways can I have ice cream?" Tara asked.

"No you can not" He said frowning like she just said the most irrational thing ever.
