"That doesn't work for it." I said to myself deleting what Max typed.

"Max?" I called. I haven't heard his voice in a while now.

I turned to see the guy with ear pods on, he clicking away on his phone while I was doing his work.

"Max?" I called a bit louder and he still didn't respond. The music must be really loud.

I yanked the ear pods out of his ear and he frowned. "What?" He asked.

"You can't be chilling and I'll be doing your work okay?" I said and he pouted.

"Yea, not gonna work." I said. "But this is really boring." He said.

"But you have to get it done." I responded.

"Move." He sighed and I moved out of his way.

He sat in front of the laptop and I picked the notebook where he wrote everything down.

"Alright, so I said......."

"Finally." He said and saved the work.

I leaned on him restlessly as he packed up his laptop and placed the notes on it.

He then turned to me. I looked up and he smiled placing his lips on mine.

I sighed into the kiss.

"Thanks." He said pulling apart.

I nodded. "Anything."

Max is gone and I'm depressed cause he still hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend or anything.

"There's a party on Friday. You wanna...come?" Tara asked.

"My first party, you abandoned me and I fought with Max, and I had a predicament with Luke, my second party, I found out Joe was back in town." I rambled and Tara rolled her eyes.

"What're parties for? We've still gotta have fun and Joe is out of town again.." Tara said.

"I'm not coming. I'm mourning the fact that Max and I are on a friend's with benefit basis." I said chewing on the top of my pencil as I tried to solve Tara's maths homework.

Harvey has refused to talk to her,  doing her assignment for her is totally out of it.

"He likes you." Tara said.

"Sure. And he'll ask me out in 10 years time." I rolled my eyes.

"Chill Mia." Tara said.

"I can't freaking chill. I lov- I like him and...." I paused.

"How about we fake a truth or dare game and I dare Matteo to kiss you so we can see Max's reaction." Tara said.

I stared at her like she was delusional. In fact she has to be delusional.

"Matteo? Matteo? As in Matteo Gonzales?" I asked.

"He's the best to use since he already likes you." Tara said.

"Matteo likes who?" I frowned.

"Y-o-u, you." she spelled out.

"Are you freaking serious?!!!" I shrieked.

"Yes I am." She replied.

I dropped the pencil I was holding.

"You didn't know?" She asked.

"Uhmm du-uh! Was I supposed to know??" I shrieked.

"He likes likes you.." she chuckled.

"Well.....uhm that's gonna be weird." I said.

"Are you gonna come for the party or-?" She asked.

"I'll come." I sighed.

"Who's throwing?" I added.

"Kian and Dan." She responded.

"Oh.. cool." I nodded absent-mindedly.

Matteo likes me. I like Max. Max may or may not like me.

"Yeah. Carry on with the assignment." She smiled brightly.

"Why can't you do your assignment yourself?" I turned my attention back to her assignment but I found it hard to focus.

"Because if you do it then I'm sure to get an A+ but if I do it, I'm gonna get between a B+ or a C." She said putting on her headphone.

I pulled of the headphone. "No freaking way I'm gonna do your assignment and you'll do that." I said and she groaned sitting next to my desk.

"What is your problem Miaaaa?" She asked.

"You." I rolled my eyes.

"Hey! Just thought if the best ship name for you and Matteo! Matia?" She asked.

I threw the headphone at her and pushed her away from my desk while she laughed.

I can't believe Matteo likes me!!

I never noticed or anything.
