"No Mia!" Max laughed when I squirted the water from my water bottle at him.
I dusted the flour on my dress and glared at him while he wiped his face a cloth.
"I hate you" I said. "You don't" he chuckled. I rolled my eyes.
"Well....the cookies turned out okay but we didn't so I'm gonna change while you go wake Kheris." I said and he nodded.
I left the kitchen and went up the stairs to my room.
I went to my closet and changed into a pink sleeveless chiffon top and black leggings.
I then went back downstairs.
"Ahh! Dadda." I heard Kheris laugh.
Yea. I noticed when we went to pick her that she called Max 'dadda' and I don't get why.
Only if..she's his daughter and that'll be so insane.
I didn't see Max as someone so irresponsible that'll get a girl pregnant or something.
"Mia you're back!" Kheris giggled as I stepped into the kitchen.
Max was placing some cookies in a little plate for Kheris who was seated on the counter.
"Yep, I'm back." I said standing in front of her.
She wrapped her little arms around me and giggled.
"What's funny?" I asked.
"You smell like chocolate." She said and I chuckled.
"Here Kher." Max said handing her the plate of cookies.
"Yay!!" She removed her arms from me and collected the plate carefully.
She placed it on the counter, she picked one then bit into it.
"Hm! Yum yum" she giggled stuffing the whole thing in her little mouth.
"Bite by bite Kheris." I said getting a small cup of water and putting it next to her plate.
Max leaned against the counter and bit into a cookie.
"Its nice." He smiled proudly and I also took one.
Yea, its really nice and chocolate chip cookies are my favorite.
After eating a whole bunch of cookies we were finally satisfied.
"Where's mamma?" Kheris asked suddenly and Max sighed.
"I don't know but I can give her a call." He said and she nodded watching him take out his phone and dialling a number.
Who's the the mother?
Max's POV
"Hey Kate. Where're you?" I asked.
"On my way to your place. Are you guys home?"
"No. I'll call Dan or someone to bring her home to you" I said.
"Alright darling." She said and I hung up.
I still don't get why she was hanging with Luke but that can wait.
I dialled Kian next.
"Hello Kian? " I said.
"Yes Max?" He answered.
"Can you come over to Easton street, block 2, the huge white house there." I said
"Okay. Why?" He asked.
"I need you to take Kheris home." I said.
"Oh my sweet Kher!" He exclaimed and I chuckled.
"Yea, hurry though, Kate is waiting for her at home." I said.
"I'll be right there, thankfully I'm close by. Wait who're you with at Easton? The boys?" Kian asked.
"Don't be nosy." I said and hung up.
I looked up from my phone at Mia and Kher who were talking animatedly while eating their cookies.
A small smile formed on my lips.
