Cedric's POV-

Hagrid gave y/n and I blankets and we've been sitting at Hagrid's one and only table, talking and trying to warm up.

"About last night-" y/n begins.

"We don't need to talk about it. It happened." I look away from her. I feel ashamed. Whenever I'm around her there's this spark inside me that ignites. Something that I never even knew I had. No matter how many girls I slept with or drugs I'v taken, none of it feels as good as just simply sitting with her.

"Oh, ok." She looks down. I had never seen her like this. She always gave her opinion and stood up when somone was doing something stupid. Why isn't she right now?

"We should get back." She says.

"Ok. Thank you, Hagrid!" I call into the opening in the floor, where he has spent most of his time while we've been here.

"No problem! Just don't jump into the lake again, ok!" He calls up.

"Of course! See you tomorrow, in class!" Y/n yells and we head out the door.

"Where should we walk in?" She looks around once we reach the school.

"I guess the front." I shrug.

"No way. I would rather not have everyone in school see me practically naked." She pulls the blanket tighter around her.

"Well, all of the windows are too high to jump through. Plus, it's pretty early for people to be going down to dinner."

"Fine." She takes a deep breath. We go into the castle, a few students standing near the entrance.

"Ok, later." She points down the hallway and turns but before she can leave I gently grab her wrist. She turns and looks at me. I lean down by her ear and move a piece of her hair out of her face.

"By the way, anyone would be lucky to see you half naked." She try's to conceal her smile.

"Goodbye, Diggory." She places a hand on my chest for a moment and then turns quickly and runs down the hall way.

Y/n's POV-

I sprint down the hallway, trying to get to the common room as fast as I can. At this point I don't care what people say. I burst into the common room and the Slytherin team starts clapping the moment I enter.

"What the fuck!" I scream, pushing Flint off the couch.

"I see you made it back safe." Flint laughs, a sudden realization comes over me. My jeans had the note from my father in the pocket. The jeans that Flint stole.

"Where are my clothes. Now!" I yell, wishing I hadn't left my wand in my bedroom.

"Chill! They're in your dorm!" Flint covers his face with his arms.

"They better be." I run up into my room. I grab my muddy jeans and search through the pockets. I finally find the letter and my heart is racing a million miles a minute. I take a deep breath and put the letter in my book cabinet, somewhere I know no one will look in. I walk back down stairs.

"You've been walking around the castle without shoes? That's disgusting." Flint says.

"You barely shower after practice, don't talk about what's disgusting." I snap and head into the bathrooms to take a shower to rid myself of whatever is in the black lake.

Once I'm done, I get ready for dinner. Usually I wouldn't care but if people are talking about the party and today, I need to pretend to be unfazed. I put on my clothes and walk back down, ready to pretend what happened today didn't happen. There's really no point holding grudges with them.
