"Hey y/n! Wait up!" I turn around and see Leo flailing, running towards me on my way to herbology.

"What do you want?" I roll my eyes.

"I just wanted to say, I was super drunk at the party and whatever happened- I just wasn't being myself." He keeps looking around avoiding my eyes.

"Alright. But you know, I've always been one to believe that drunk actions are sober thoughts." I smile.

"Um-" Leo starts.

"Bye, Leo." I say and walk away.

Later that day

I stare at the paper in front of me, trying to think of what to say. How do I respond to my father's letter?

Dear Father,

I found your letter for me. What does it all mean? How am I in danger?

y/n

Short and sweet. Hopefully he gives me real clues this time and hopefully whatever's wrong has nothing to do with Sirius Black.

"Hey y/n!" Daphne opens the door and I quickly seal the letter.

"Do you want to go to Hogsmeade with us?" Daphne, Pansy, Draco and Blaise are all crowding in the door way, goofy smiles on their faces.

"Yeah, just let me change out of my pajamas real quick." I say.

"Okay, you better hurry up, we're trying to get there by Easter." Blaise says and I stick out my middle finger at him.

I put on a black long sleeve, light wash jeans, and brown corduroy jacket. Finally, I go back down stairs.

"You did that in record time. I'm proud." Blaise, gives me a sarcastic smile and I respirate. Once we leave I take a glance at Draco, who looks exceptionally posh for a trip to Hogsmeade.

"Like the suit, y/n?" Draco pops his collar.

"You look like such an ass, Draco." Daphne says as she nudges him.

"I'm sorry I don't want to look like a bum, like the rest of you." He sticks up his middle finger and we all laugh.

"Where should we go first?" I ask.

"Let's get butter beer first." Blaise says.

"You just want to get drunk to annoy all the shop owners." Draco accuses.

"Precisely." Blaise smiles and pulls out a small bottle of rum from his pocket.

Once we get into the three broomsticks, Draco struts up to the counter.

"Five butter beers." He tosses a satchel of money on the counter.

"Keep the change." The worker smiles and starts making our drinks.

"Dude, who are you trying to impress?" Blaise nudges Draco and they whisper something to each other. I shrug and turn to Pansy, who's face has gone red and tears begin to swell up in her eyes. Before I can ask what's wrong she rushes out of her chair and runs to the bathroom.

"What's up with her." Draco crosses his arms.

"I'll go check." I walk to the bathroom and find Pansy, sobbing on the floor.

"What's wrong?" She looks up at me in shock and wipes her eyes.

"Nothing! I'm fine." I get on the floor right next to her.

"Don't lie to me. Did someone do something?" I soften my voice.

"It's just- Draco fancy's you and now that he knows you don't like him back he has this plan."

"What plan?" I try to hold in my anger.

"I heard him talking to Blaise-" Her words are drowned out by sobs.

"He's going after Daphne to make you jealous." She sniffles.

"That's just silly, he knows I don't feel that way about him." I shake my head.

"It's just- why does he like anyone but me. He won't even use me as bait to make someone jealous anymore." She says.

"Good. He never deserved you in the first place."

"But- he acts like I don't even deserve to be friends with him. You know we're only friends because our parents are, right?" She says.

"You have been friends this long, Pansy. If Draco isnt the one for you that's ok, it's probably for the best." She gives me a weak smile. I get her to stand up and we tidy her mascara.

"Now, let's go before Blaise drinks our butter beers." I say, while we walk out of the bathroom.

"Is something wrong?" Daphne questions once we get back to our table.

"Just girl stuff." I say, casually.

"Gross!" Blaise laughs.

"Oh grow up." Pansy rolls her eyes.

After drinking our butter beers and feeling slightly buzzed we decide to go into some shops. Just as we are about to enter honey dukes, I see y/o/n flying through the sky.

"Is that y/o/n?" Draco squints.

"Yeah, uh you guys go ahead I think it's something important." They nod and go in honey dukes.

"Thank you." I say to y/o/n and take the letter.

"Go on now. I don't have any treats with me." They roll their eyes and fly off, back to the castle. I graze my fingers along my neatly written name and open the letter.

Dear y/n,

I made it clear that I cannot say much about the subject. Adding on to that, I have had a friend send you another owl that will be waiting in your dorm. We can't risk your mother finding out so the owl will send them to another location. He knows where to send it, you don't need to know.

As for explanations, all you need to know is what the marauders map is. Now, don't go asking around about it. Just know that it exists and once you see it you'll know.

Much love,

Gregory y/l/n

What the fuck?

"Hey y/n! Are you coming?" Daphne sticks her head out the door.

"I'm going to head back, see you guys at dinner." I wave goodbye and walk back to the castle. I go to the dungeons and finally my dorm. Lo and behold the owl is sitting on my bed, staring innocently like he knew I would come.

"What's your name, little guy?" I look at the cage sitting next to him. The name Wormtail, is engraved on the bottom.

"That's a strange name for an owl."
