Chapter 13 is two chapters down :)

Cedric's POV-

I woke up without feeling in my arm and a snapping sound in front of my face. I open my eyes and about five first year Slytherins are staring at me with a look of disapproval planted on their faces.

"Oh, uh hi?" I stammer.

"What are you doing here." A freckled faced girl says, arms crossed.

"I was bringing back somone who wasn't feeling well after the ball."

"Who?" The girl questions.

"Him." I motion to Draco, who is passed out on the couch, still in his tux.

"What about y/n?" I turn to y/n. She's resting her head on my chest, still asleep.

"We're friends and I helped her bring him back."

"Her head is up your bloody arm pit, that tells me that you're closer than friends." I curly haired boy says disgusted.

"Her head is not up my arm pit and even if it was I smell delightful." I say.

"Mhm." They say sarcastically, in unison.

"What's going on?" Y/n says, groggy.

"Just these first years who feel the need to voice every opinion they have." I say and she sits up.

"Shoo shoo! Go get breakfast before Crabbe and Goyle devour it all!" She says in a sweet voice. They nod and scurry out of the common room.

"Wow I did not expect you to be good with kids." I say.

"I always wanted a younger sibling so before I moved I baby sat a little bit."

"What the bloody hell is that?" She laughs.

"I just watched some people's kids for money. It's not as traumatising as it sounds." I give a relived sigh.

"Do you want to go down to breakfast?" She asks.

"Given that it's one in the afternoon, we might have missed breakfast but yes. I think I should change first though." She nods. I get my jacket and tie and we walk out.

"I haven't been in the Hufflepuff common room since my first day." She smiles.

"Oh yeah. That was a good day." I say.

We reach the entrance barrel and I knock on it to the rhythm of Helga Hufflepuff. The space opens and we walk through a dim hallway leading to the common room.

The Hufflepuff common room was much warmer than the Slytherin common room. The walls are a golden yellow and the chairs are covered in brown and black pillows making the room feel cozy. Just as we walk through I see Elsie Moore and Zack Smith snogging on my favorite couch.

"Good for you Zach!" Y/n says and Zach's face goes red.

"Good for you Ced." Elsie says. I ignore her and walk up to my dorm with y/n behind me.

"Wow, I have never seen the boys dorm this clean before."

"Yeah, Zach's a major clean freak." In the moment of silence I remember I came up here to change and y/n was right there.

"Um I'm going to change now." I say, back turned facing my closet as I pull out clothes.

"I'm not going to look, but I can leave if you want."

"No, stay." I say and she opens the book she gave me.

"How have you only gotten to page ten?" She giggles.

"Homework and quidditch will kill me before I finish that book." I start changing, glancing over my shoulder to see if she's looking but she just has her head buried in the book. Once I'm done I open the door.

"After you." I smile. She rolls her eyes.

"Are you guys coming to lunch?" Y/n asks Zach and Elsie. They looked at each other and nodded, following us out the door. We enter the great hall and it's silent even though the room is full.

"Sit with us, I think everyone is too preoccupied to pay attention to rules right now." She nods and we sit down. I expected Leo to make a face or scoff but he just stairs at his plate.

"What's going on?" I ask another Hufflepuff.

"Look." They push a news paper in front of me.

Sirius Black sighted!

I show y/n the paper and her face goes pale.

"Oh my God. Do you think they'll shut down the school?" She says.

"But what about the Halloween party? I have been preparing all month." Elsie whispers.

"The Fat Lady! The Fat Lady is missing!" Lee Jordan rushes into the hall.

Y/n and I follow him to the stairs leading to the Gryffindor common room and he was right. She was missing.

"Look!" Another student yells. We all follow and no other than the Fat Lady was in a different painting, surrounded by mud.

"He's here!" She yells.

"Who's here?" McGonagall asks.

"Sirius Black! He's somewhere in the castle!" Gasps fill the stairwell. McGonagall moves us back into the great hall. Once we are seated Dumbledore stands up.

"We are shutting down the castle! A teacher may bring each house at a time to their dormitories to pick up their things. Filch! Hand out sleeping bags. It's going to be a long night."
