Chapter 21: FaceTime

Chapter 21

Lilly

I shook my head as I blushed, I have many incoming texts from 'Royce ❤️' which reminded me that I should probably change his name on my phone. I went to edit contact information and erased 'Royce❤️' and put in 'Geoffrey❤️' yes, I decided to keep the heart.

Before I knew it, instead of iMessages, he was FaceTiming me. I quickly looked over the mirror to see if I looked presentable enough and tried to fix myself. Yes, I can be self conscious.

"Hey beautiful!" I could see him through my phone. He was as handsome as ever, his gorgeous smile showing his dimples. I can feel myself flush when said 'beautiful.' His smile grows slightly bigger, he noticed.

"Hey!" I smile. "How was your flight?" I asked.

"Great, I'm home already, but I miss you--" My heart melts, but at the same time it's beating faster. He misses me? It's only been a couple of hours. "--how's your first day back in college?"

I bite my lip, I heard his breath hitch slightly. Should I tell him it's been horrible? "I'm assuming it's going bad?" He states.

"How--how do you know?" I say surprisingly, my eyebrows furrowed together.

"You're in a dorm lying down looking completely pissed." He says it so bluntly and I start laughing. "Well my first glimpse of you was, now not so much." I laugh again. "What happened?" He ask curiously.

I hesitate to answer, but suck it up, "I punched this football player in the hall, now everyone's talking about it."

"Damn Lilly!" He laughs. "I figured you'd be the feisty one!" I could see a smirk forming on his lips. It made me blush, again!

"Well he deserved it, he called me something very racist and I personally don't take bs from anyone." I said curtly.

He smirks through my screen and I fail in analyzing why, what is so amusing? "I love that about you." He says smoothly.

"You barely know me Geoffrey." I remind him.

"And?" He arches his eyebrow, and I admit that was sexy. "Every little bit I learn, I love." I shake my head in amusement, he can't hide that's he's sounding like a player at the moment.

I clear my throat wanting to change the conversation, it was getting too uncomfortable for my liking. "How's the album going?" I ask and I see him shake his head with a grin on his face as if he knows what I've done. Changing the subject, a usual.

"Going great! I've written some songs I'm looking forward to this fall." He smile intently. He smiles, I smile.

"Can't wait to hear it then!"

"You might get a preview!" There's a grin on his face.

"I'm pretty sure your Roycenaticas wouldn't like that." I shoot a smirk. He likes playing games, well so do I.

"Mm they don't have to know..." His smirk growing by the second.

"My oh my!" I tease. "Prince Royce is lying to his Roycenaticas!" I say dramatically causing him to laugh at my sudden drama scene. "How dare he!"

"See, I told you, you'd make a hell of an actress." He says through his laughs. I remember the fist time he told me that, when I tried to conceal my feelings from him. Even I know I can deliver a line eloquently. My mind traces to my high school competitions in forensic speech, and I mentally laugh. "What's so funny!?" He interferes with my thoughts. "I'd like to know what you're thinking."

"When I was in high school, I guess you can say I was into acting and theater a lot." I shrug my shoulders.

"Well well well!" He says surprised. "You're just a bundle of surprises."

I eye him confused and shake my head, "Why do you find me so interesting?"

"Because Lilly, you're different. You stand out." I sense his sincerity.

I can't' hide how much that means to me and how it's warms my veins all spreading throughout my body. "That's the sweetest thing anyone has said to me in a long time..." I whisper and I bite my lip.

His eyes grow slightly wider at me, once again his breath hitches. "Stop biting your lip Lilly it's distracting." He says hoarsely. I let my lip go and eye him through the screen. He pursed his lips and composed himself. What just happened? "Well I'm glad that I'm the person who made you realize that once again, I wish I could talk all day with you, but I have a studio waiting for me and you a classroom." He pauses. "I'll talk to you later today, okay." He smiles.

I try hiding my disappointment. He has to go so soon? My heart falls. "Yeah you're right, I can't be this irresponsible my first day back in school, thanks for calling me." I say with a genuine smile.

His dimples reappear in his breathtaking smile that I can never get enough off. "Thanks for answering me!" And I laugh since I had ignored all of his texts. "Bye Lilly." He says softly, I have never heard my name escape out f such beautiful lips before, not like his.

"Bye...Geoffrey..." I smile and our communication cuts off. I sigh disappointedly, he had put a smile on my face and now I think I miss him more then ever. I'm seriously loosing it!

Now all I have left to wonder why did my bitting lip made him change so suddenly.

Hi guys! I know I know it's been FOREVER! But I have great news! I'll be updating more often now! I have two days off now! 🙌 my job is finally letting me rest! Aye!
