Geoffrey's POV

Am I dreaming? She didn't freak out on who I was?

That's a first!

She was a gorgeous girl, and by her dancing you could tell she was Dominican.

I saw that she was walking over to Shanelli's table and sat down, even better for me.

"Where have you been!" Shanelli said.

Lilly's head shot up confused.

"Around" I said sitting down.

"Oh Lilly this is my other brother, Geoffrey"

"Oh I didn't know, we've already met" she said.

"On the dance floor" I added smirking.

Oo. She looked annoyed, was it something I said?

"Nice! So where are you from? I've met some of Jelli's friends" Shanelli said.

So she's friends with Jelli? Jelli and Shanelli have been friends for a year, and they've gotten close.

"I'm from a small town in Indiana, but I live here now and go to college" she said.

"Oh! Cool! Which college?" Shanelli said.

"Northwestern" Lilly replied.

If I'm correct, I'm pretty sure, it's one of the best in Chicago.

"Wow! Northwestern! But your parents, where are they from?"

I didn't mind Shanelli trying to get to know her, I wanted to know all of this stuff too, Lilly somehow intrigues me.

I mean-- she didn't freak out! And also she seems like a mystery.

"My dad's Dominican and my mom Mexican" Lilly said.

"Wow! You're beautiful" I blurted out.

Shanelli looked over to me and smirked, if Rodney or D'lesly were here now, they would be making fun of me later.

"Uh thanks, I'm gonna go get some air, excuse me" she said getting up.

"See! You made her nervous!" Shanelli slapped my arm.

"Mira! She's gorgeous" I said, "I'll go see her and apologize, she thinks I'm a flirt or something"

"You kinda are" she laughed.

I rolled my eyes and followed Lilly, she went outside through the back doors that lead to the lake. Wasn't she cold or something?

"Hey..." I said reaching her.

"Oh it's you..."

This girl tends to have that fierce attitude, and I'm liking it.

"Sorry, I'm probably the last person you want to see... But I just wanted to apologize for making you uncomfortable back there--"

"You didn't, I just got annoyed" she said not even looking at me, but the lake in front of us and the full moon over it.

Ok, ouch!

"Oh uh so-sorry"

I'm stuttering? This girl doesn't seemed to be fazed, I'm kind of intimidated here.

"Why say sorry? It's your personality, right? Being a flirt or just some guy getti--"
