Chapter 25: Spring Break

Chapter 25

"Geoffrey please do not tell me you're back with her!" Shanelli exclaimed to her brother over the phone.

Royce sighed, "We are just talking again--"

"Yeah you got back with her." Shanelli said annoyed.

"Nelli--"

"Uh no! Don't Nelli me! Shanelli exclaimed. "Pero porque Geoffrey!"

"You like Eme, stop acting fake!" Royce said annoyed, he hated when his family got in his relationships. Yes, the majority of his family members loved Emeraude, but after their last intense fight, they thought it was really over.

"Okay, I do, but, I love Lilly more! What the hell is wrong with you! How can you play her like that--"

"What the fuck! Who told you all of this!"

"Jelli."

Royce sighed, it all made sense now to him. After Valentine's Day, when Lilly found out he had girlfriend. Jelli and Lilly were best friends, of course Lilly would tell her, and since Jelli and Shanelli are super close, she would tell his sister. "I didn't play with her, you know me."

Shanelli sighed, "I know you're not you're my brother I know you, but the way Jelli told me that Lilly told her, it sounds like you did."

So Lilly did feel something for me then? Royce thought.

"At that time I wasn't talking so much with Eme, we were not together, but Lilly was making me feel some type of way, so I got carried away, but I never meant to hurt her, I didn't get back with Eme until I arrived at Miami at my house, she was already waiting for me and one thing led to another and you know..."

"I see now, but you still kept in contact with Lilly flirting while you just recently arrived and got back with Eme, how is that right?"

"It isn't Nelli I know," he sighed.

"Why did you get with Eme, if you were having feelings for Lilly?"

"Because I wasn't really sure what I felt for Lilly, I thought it was just desire or lust, Eme is someone who has been there for me since almost my beginnings, plus with Lilly it would be hard. She's going to school in Chicago and lives there, I'm in Miami or traveling half of the time, when has a long distance relationship like that ever worked?"

"Geoffrey..."

"No Shaneli I'm serious! She's a student, I'm a celebrity, Eme is in the business too, we both live in Miami and we see each other more then usual, so please don't tell me otherwise, it wouldn't have worked out! I've just met the girl for a week!"

"But that girl made you feel some type of way that Eme has never done, admit it! I'm not stupid, in that week you were with her, you looked at her way differently then how you've ever seen Eme!"

He exhaled softly, there was no denying Shanelli's claim and his silence gave  her a triumphant smile. She knew her brother well.

"Doesn't matter Shanelli, I have my career to worry about and so does she, she's going to be the best journalists the world has ever seen."

"You're so stubborn!"

"I have to get back to the studio, so text me when you can."

"Yeah okay, FYI though, I'm on spring break so is Jelli and Lilly so we'll have fun without you bye!"

"What! Lilly's on spring break?"

"Yeah, so we're going to meet up with her in Chicago and from there the wind will take us, have fun the in the studio big bro bye!!"
