Chapter 18: Distractions

And he was ready.

Terra and the group appeared behind the fence that blocked off the entrance to The Meadows, and got everyone huddled together.

"So what's our plan for this?" Cudi started. "We obviously can't just barge in there and fight everyone. Plus, Vanitas might be here. How do we go about doing this?"

"Some of us could go undercover as Utrax agents taking Hanna into The Meadows." Russel suggested.

"That wouldn't work." Daimon intercepted. "They'd notice us too quickly."

"Well, what are we supposed to do?" Ana inquired. "Just walk up to the guards nicely and ask to give us the girls that could possibly be siding with Mother and her leader?"

"We could infiltrate them from the top." Eraqus said.

"How would we get down?" Hanna pointed out.

"That's easy. My teleporting powers." Terra replied, smiling.

"We'll keep watch." Murdoc volunteered.

"Just because yew're too scared to help doesn't mean ya won't." 2D objected.

"Actually, he might have a point." Said Travis. "He's not entirely safe by himself, and he could get captured. Why don't I stay here with 2D, Russel and Murdoc so that if someone comes to us, I can, y'know. Zap 'em."

Eraqus nodded. "Terra, Aqua, Scott, Hanna. You're with me. Daimon and Ana, you should be the diversion."

"Really?" Daimon said, annoyed.

Ana playfully punched him. "C'mon, Daimon. There's no demons here except for maybe some Unversed things. Besides, I'm great at distractions. I can really work my charm on those guys."

Daimon rolled his eyes and sighed. "Fine."

"Good. Then it's settled." Aqua piped up. "Terra, let's get everyone into positions."

The Keyblade Wielder nodded and teleported with his group up to the top of The Meadows building, and The Helstroms left to get up to the guards to cause their distraction.

"So we're not gonna see the movie?" Ven asked.

"It's rated R. You can't and shouldn't see it, at least not now. And to answer your actual question, no, we're not going to see it. This is the place for the panels, interviews, and parties. This is where the celebrities are."

"Like Jacob Tremblay and Seth Rogan?"

"Definitely."

Daveed Diggs was walking along the streets of LA with Ventus, Noodle and the Quagmires to the Good Boys Red Carpet premiere. Terra had teleported them to where they needed to be, and luckily Daveed had the money to get everyone in.

There was a pretty big line outside, but Daveed had special V.I.P passes for everyone, because why not? He was a celebrity too.

Daveed walked the kids into the building, and looked over at their dismayed and surprised faces, seeing all of the cameras, microphones, and famous people.

Ven was familiar with seeing famous artists and superheroes, but actors were a completely different thing.

The main cast was getting their pictures taken, and pretty soon after that, the interviews started to take place.

"When are we going to talk to them?" Noodle asked, eagerly.

Daveed chuckled. "You gotta be patient. You'll get to talk to them soon. Plus, if you want I can meet up with Jacob, or some of the others after the party if we have time. You want that?"
