So if you've read my book The Shadows we hold, this is that but if Japan and Canada were destined to get together and Japan actually liked men. You don't have to read the story to understand that characters though.

Canada gulped nervously, a small box of chocolates in his hands. It was Valentine's day and so many people had already given chocolate to the ones they liked. Canada slowly walked to Japan, he felt his palms get sweaty as he walked to Japan and his face was getting red.
"Hey Canada! Oh~ You have a special someone you're gonna ask out." Japan was already making those eyes at Canada.
"Uhh, s-something like that." He felt his face get hotter and held the chocolates out in front of him at Japan, "h-happy Valentine's Day." Canada squeezed his eyes shut, tears threatened to slip out as he felt the chocolates leave his hands.
"Th-they're for me?" Japan asked, Canada slowly nodded, he felt his lip tremble. "Thanks Cancan." He smiled and pulled Canada into a tight hug. "Thank you so much."
Canada relaxed into the embrace. It was good. Japan was good at hugging, but Japan pulled out slightly. "I have something for you too, but it's not as great."
Canada let himself be pulled to Japan's locker. He noticed America out of the corner of his eye pinned against the wall by some taller dude, he couldn't tell if America and his homophobic heart was enjoying it though.
Japan pulled out a small box, "I know you wanted to see this Anime so I was finally able to get it for you." Canada smiled and looked at it. It was perfect.
"Thanks Jay. You're amazing." His voice was full of gratitude.
"You are too Cancan."
