I smiled at America as he pulled me along excitedly. I had come to like him a lot over the last few weeks I've known him. He'd shown me nothing bit kindness and understanding after my amnesia. And I am so greatful for it.

He's like a mini ray of sunshine, especially in his bright yellow hoodie that's way too big on him. He laughed, pulling me along to the park he made sure his house was next to.

As we walked into it, the park really was all Americ had cracked it up to be. Although we got hit with some droplets, a memory of the rain just a few hours ago. But the sky was clearing allowing the sun to filter down through the clouds and America who had since let go of my hand and raced through the trees laughing like a little kid.

He was absolutely adorable. And it just made me happier to be his friend. His laughter brightened my day and as I finally got closer to his happiness the sun shine bright on his face.

Then his eyes opened and it was like I'd never seen his eyes before. Two shades of blue, both stunning and vibrant in the moment. Like a stormy ocean and a sunny sky. In that moment I was speachless. He was beautiful in that moment and just for a second I wanted that. I wanted to protect him and guard him from the horrors of the world.

"Hey Russ, what's that look for~? You didn't fall in love with me did you?"

I laughed at the thought. "Of course not America. You're my best friend and I never want that to change."

He smiled back at me that full smile, where he couldn't even see from how much he's smiling, "I'm glad Russ. I hope we stay friends forever."
