So, Luna is trans and an Avian/angel but they haven't picked out their chosen name yet. Yao is Enby and a nyanbinary/catperson. This is sorta based off of me and my best friend who I think I have a crush on. They are very cute and if you're reading this, please don't let things become akward between us.

Luna glanced at his best friend. The wind was cool and refreshing after the summers heat, the sun almost dipping below the horizon showing a beautiful sunset.

"Have you picked a name yet?" His friends name cut through the slightly uncomfortable silence.

"No. Not yet. Nothing I find fits me honestly."

"Okay. You don't have to change your name if you like the one you have Luna."

"I know. It's just. It's so, Feminine." Luna sighed in annoyance, his hands moving as he spoke.

"And when was the last time you let society dictate what you did?"

"When I nearly got arrested at a protest after being hit with tear gas and smoke bombs. I felt like I was gonna die."

"Right. But you won't die if you don't change your name."

"But no one will see me like a real boy. Unlike you Yao. You pass as a cis man but you're pretty androgenous. I wish I was like you."

"Hah! Just because you're not as far into your transition as me doesn't mean you aren't a real boy." Yao did his best to comfort Luna.

"Thanks. Oh, how did you hide your ears for so long? Wasn't there a no hat policy at your school?"

"Oh, I was home schooled. When I was brought into tests there was a special note that let me wear a hat in there."
"Ooh. That's really cool."

"How did you hide your wings?"

"I was excused from PE and had them bound behind my back in a way that I couldn't show them even if I wanted to. It was kinda painful."

"That sounds horrible."

"It was. There's a reason I can't fly with my wings, only glide."

"I thought it was because they were too small."

"Nah. I wasn't allowed to fly with them enough when I was young, so the muscles never built up properly to fly. I've tried as much as I could but the most I can do is glide, if I flap I fall instantly which hurts a lot."

They sat in silence. The sunset bright and hot on their faces making them look at each other kinda expectantly.  "I guess this would be pretty romantic if we liked eachother." Yao pointed out.

"I-I guess it would be." Luna turned away from a moment, starting to blush a little, but he had some confidence. "You do think I'm a real boy, right?"

"Of course I do. ¡Tú mi príncipe bonito!" Luna blushed more from that. His pretty prince. That's what he was. He was Yao's pretty prince.

"Feel free to stop me if you don't like what I'm about to do." Luna slowly leaned towards Yao and kissed his nose. Yao's face started to burn but he didn't push Luna away and he got closer, kissing Yao on the lips.

"W-was that alright Yao?" He looked stunned for a few moments before shaking it off.

"I. I don't know." He looked away.
"Should I do it again, or not."

"N-no. I need some time to sort out my feelings. But it wasn't a bad kiss either."

"Alright."

And just like that, the moment was over. But neither of them could stop thinking about what happened that day. If they had to describe the moment, Luna would say that the day was just as beautiful as the man he kissed that day. And Yao would say that Luna put the day to shame with his beauty.
