Alexei Fears Scene

Sorry y'all I'm feeling like shit so here's my self insert character getting what they need because maybe it will.make me feel better about this meat prison I'm trapped in.

"Why hello there." Alexei spun around as he looked for the owner of the voice. It was melodic and in any other circumstances might be soothing rather than making him tense up more. "What brings you to my home traveller?"

"I, I'm looking for, uh. I'm looking for safe, safe passage. For me and my friends." Alexei kept looking around. There was too much fog and the voice echoed too much for him to tell where it was coming from.

"And I can grant that. But first I must feed. You do understand that don't you?"

"W-what do you eat?" Alex's voice wavered he was already closing in on himself. Terrified.

"Fear of course. And you already smell like such a delicious meal of terror."

"Um. H-How does this uh, fear feeding work? Do I tell you my fears, like on a list or something? I'm like really scared right now. Do I just tremble in fear until you've had enough?" The more information Alexei had, the less scared he became.

"Oh um. Most people aren't willing to just tell me their fears like that."

"Oh I'm terrified right now. I'm also scared of large spiders, the unknown. And my friends leaving me."

"Why are you just telling me this?"

"Oh because it makes me feel better. At least a little."

"You need some serious help."

"I know. But I'm too broke to afford a therapist anymore so here I am."

"Well darn. You don't even smell that good anymore."

"Then make me afraid Mr. Shadow."

The floor disapeared undr Alexeis feet and he fell. Yelling in fear before she hit the ground with a pained thump. Then the voices came. You'll never be worth it. I can't believe I trusted you. As Alexei looked up, there was one person he cared about more than anyone else.

"Z-zack!"

"I can't believe I put up with you for this long. You know you'll never be enough for me. I just tolerate you, but I can't hang on anymore. You know you're a failure." Alexei broke. He cried hard. His eyes closed, totally collapsed on the ground. Huge sobs wracked his body. Blood touched his hands but he couldn't care less. He was all alone. Nobody cared. It didn't matter what happened to him now. He wasn't a good enough person for anyone. Last of all himself.

"You're truly a disposable person Alexei, or should I say, Suki?"

"Please. Just stop. Surly this satisfies your hunger?"

"No. I have yet to see you truly break yet Suki."

"Please, please don't use my name. That's worse than fear, it's transphobic." Alex swallowed a sob down his throat as he barely looked out at the fog.

"But you know deep down you'll always be a woman. No matter what you do everyone knows. Everyone knows you're wrong for thinking that way, and because if that nobody can ever truly love you. Everyone will leave you in the end because you are a burden. You hurt people, and you are a bad person."

"I know. I should probably just kill myself already."

"Does that not scare you?"

"Well, if everyone's gone what is there to fear? Nobody cares about me anymore, so I can do anything to myself and nobody cares. Nobody would know any different because I'm insignificant. I don't matter."

"You accepted that rather quickly." The monster by this point had had well more than it's fair share of fear. Actually it was getting quite concerned for the humans well being, it had never seen a human break like this before.

"Well, when you already believe it in your mind before it happens, it doesn't take much to accept it as the truth."

"Okay I'm getting you some help and your friends right now." The monster make a snapping noise and Alexei woke up in bed, breathing heavily.

"You good?" His roommate Moss looked up from their computer.

"Since when am I fine?"

"Fair, you worse than normal?"

"Uh, yeah. A-A little. That's all."

"Seems like you had a rough dream."

"Yeah." Alex looked down and gently pet his other roommate Zen's head. They were fast asleep right next to him. It was nice.

"You wanna spill the tea, or walk or something. This is Generally what Zen does."

"I know. I think, I'll be alright. Thanks though."

"Course Alex. Now get some sleep you need it."

"Alright Moss. You need sleep too."

"It's not 3 am yet I still got time before I need to sleep."

"Okay sorry. Night Moss."

"Night Alex."

Slowly He fell asleep, focusing on Zen's breathing as he did so. Ignoring his thoughts has he slowly went to sleep.
