Russia was in a field. There was a soft breeze flowing and a rocky path beneath her feet. There were many flowers and not a cloud in the big blue sky as she walked.

After what felt like forever in near silence Russia found a figure up ahead, running towards it quickly. There was a forest behind the person, it was vibrant. Like a fairy tail.

"Oh, hey Russia. I didn't expect to see you here." She was smiling. It was so genuine and Russia hadn't seen it in so long.

"C-canada..." Russia's voice trailed off as she looked at her hands, they were stained in blood, she looked back up and the sky was blood red, Canada looking back at Russia with a Stony glare. They were back on that day. Blood sank into Russia's knees as she stared at Canada in shock. "W-why?" It was the only work Russia could muster as she stared into the unfamiliar eyes of her lover.

Canada had been so kind. So empathetic and protective of her. How could she do this? "To protect you Russia. To save you don't you see?" The smile Canada had on her face was terrifying as Russia looked at it.

No, no. Nononono no!

Russia opened her eyes faintly to see Canada crying over her bed. Russia barely wanted to breath, her whole body felt like it was on fire. She started gasping for breath but it never seemed like enough.

"Russia no, calm down. It's just me." Those eyes. Russia recognized those eyes. Canada was safe right now. She wasn't crazy, wasn't covered in blood. She wasn't going to murder her.

Russia felt herself trembling and shaking all over her body, her vision becoming blurry. A tear made it's way down her face, falling into her hair.

Strangly, she didn't want to fight anymore. Peace came over her as Canada held onto her, she closed her eyes. They were too heavy to keep open anymore and she felt herself relax as Canada spoke her final, teary eyed words to Russia.

"I'll always love you, Russia."
