"I try to keep from losin' the rest of me. I worry that I wasted the best of me on you, baby— you don't care!" Rai sang along to the music playing from her stereo as she drove into the parking lot of Jefferson high school. She looked around briefly before finding Gabi standing in an empty parking spot next to her car. She chuckled to herself because they always saved each others parking spots depending on who got their first.
It was around 7:15 and school didn't start until 8 so they had time to kill. The only reason they get their early is because of how far their homes are. Especially Sorai, she damn near lived in the woods.
She moved out the way and Rai pulled into the spot, making sure she was good before putting it in park and turning her engine off.
She opened her door and hopped out meeting a cheerful Gabrielle.
"Heeey bitch! Oh my god I missed you so fucking much this weekend." Gabi frowned as she quickly threw her arms around Sorai to hug her. "I love you. If you ghost me again I'll kill you okay?"
Rai giggled and hugged her back squeezing her tightly. "I missed you too Ms. dramatic, you know damn well I was with Kamari all weekend. You couldn't came over last night but you was too lazy to drive fucker."
They pulled apart and Gabrielle laughed. "I was lazy plus you hit me with the last minute invite, I was fresh out the shower and sinking into the comfort of my bed at that point. But you look sexy bitch! As always."
"Yeah yeah yeah." Rai chuckled, waving her off. "Thank you girl you look good too but you can come over today if you want. My parents went out of town again so I have the house to myself." She said, rolling her eyes.
Gabi made a face. "What's new bitch? At this point that is your house."
"You not lying. Me seeing Selena or Grant Lowe is starting to become a rare thing. I literally woke up to a short ass text message saying we love you, we gotta go out of town on business but we'll be back Thursday. They sent me some money and told me to call them if I need anything or call my fathers assistant." Rai said, leaning against her car.
"Awww I'm so sorry Soso." Gabi pouted. "I know you hate being lonely so I'll text my mom and tell her I'm staying with you tonight. I would stay the whole week but I can't."
