"Your home is beautiful Coach Brown." Jordan complimented as he followed Mike into his home office.
Mike grumbled a small thank you, contemplating if he wanted to strangle the young man now or later. If he did it now, Steve Kerr might ask too many questions. "Take a seat right there." He said, pointing to the chair in the corner.
Jordan watched him walk around his desk and take a seat, before taking a deep breathe. He did as he was told and sat down in the corner, sitting up straight. He was exhausted and wanted to relax but he knew that if he presented a laid back attitude, all hell might break loose.
He was just caught with his coaches daughter. His GROWN ass daughter at that, but daughter nonetheless. He understood the severity of the situation.
Mike leaned his arms on his desk and just stared at Jordan. Jordan was trying his hardest to look everywhere but him, but when somebody is staring you down like Mike— you can't help but make eye contact. He was thankful in that moment he couldn't read minds or that looks couldn't kill.
"How long have you been seeing my daughter behind my back?"
Clearing his throat, Jordan rubbed his hands on his knees. "Well technically I haven't been seeing her behind your back, we're friends."
