The past view days have been very eventful and eye opening for Kamari. From the second he walked into school, he noticed just how fast everything was changing for him. People that used to pick on him started talking to him, asking about his new look, being nice to him.
He no longer experienced any bullying.
When he went to lunch expecting to sit alone, he was invited to several tables but he wanted to stick with Sorai. She introduced him to her friends and he started getting to know them.
In classes that he didn't share with Sorai, he found a different girl sitting next to him every day.
People acknowledged him when he walked past them, more guys started trying to be cool with him, and girls were constantly smiling in his direction.
For the entire week it's like he went from getting zero attention to the whole school wanting to talk to him. He quickly started to realize he was not friendly. Like he was shy, but he genuinely did not like being around to many people.
Regardless he was a fast learner. Everything was starting to come naturally to him.
When Sorai told him his life was about to change, he should've taken her seriously.
"So do I just post and leave it at that?" Kamari asked Rai as they sat next to each other at Mooney's ice cream shop. They were awaiting the arrival of Gabrielle and her cousin Dj. She was telling him it was time to join social media so she made him make a Instagram and Twitter. He made one and she shouted him out on her very popular social media's and he already was gaining hundreds of followers, he just didn't have any posts yet.
Rai just smacked her lips and stole his phone from him deciding to do it herself. She clicked on the photo she sent him from a few minutes ago and uploaded it before captioning it. After posting it she made sure to go and like and comment on it before sharing it to her story.
"By the end of the day you'll most likely have close to a thousand followers and hella likes and comments. I already turned your notifications off so it doesn't make your phone freeze." She said handing him back his phone.
He sent her a confused look before looking down at the post. He could see people following him and his in app notifications going off already. He didn't know how to feel about all this public attention, but it was nothing compared to Rai and her 120 thousand followers.
