Destiny blew out some air, fixing the hat on top of her head. Completely tired. She was currently at work and being small and pregnant, while standing on her feet for 8 hours, completely sucked. Thankfully she had less than 2 hours left, getting off at 4.

Luckily she was assigned to just work the cash register today, so she didn't have to make a lot of movement. When she wasn't in class, she was at work. Being a full time student and a full time worker was the life she had to live for the time being. No matter how she felt, she was going to do whatever needed to be done to make sure she was taking care of her responsibilities.

A baby isn't cheap.

And even though her parents were going to make sure she still had whatever she needed that she couldn't afford, she didn't want to be dependent on them too much. She reminded herself everyday that this was all temporary, when she graduates, she'll be making money in her sleep.

The it's been exactly a week since the conversation with Kayden and to say she was okay and moved on from it would be a lie. She hated confrontation because afterwards it would be all she could think about. Growing up she hated thinking people were mad at her, it upset her.

She didn't care, but she cared.

Plus her parents have been pressuring her to meet the baby's father, and it's like damn had he didn't see her in CVS he wouldn't even know he was a father in the first place.

She knew it was wrong not to tell Kayden about the baby, she feels guilty about it deep down, but it was a decision she made and she lived with it. However, she knew that was likely not going to work out.

Either way she wasn't really sure what was going to happen anymore. She still didn't like Kayden, but were her feelings that important in a situation that involved a life they both created? Probably not. But she still wanted her feelings acknowledged. It was the only way she would be willing to work with him.
