After knocking on the door, Kayden ran his hand down his face. To say he was stressed would be an understatement. Today had been a long day with Elijah picking at him about his "feelings" for Destiny, finding out he had a sister and only God knows where, and then just a long ass shift from 2:30 to 10 at Amazon.

He went from confused, to angry, to irritated, to sad, to mad again, to frustrated to just plain tired. Fed the fuck up. Truthfully Kayden had no more emotions to go through.

As the door flew open his eyes landed on Destiny wearing a night robe that barely closed over her stomach, these fluffy socks she begged him to buy for her, glasses, and a purple bonnet.

He couldn't help but smile. "Well don't you look adorable baby mama."

"Shut up weirdo." Destiny smiled back before stepping aside to let him in. "Come on I'm getting tired."

He playfully mocked her as he stepped inside the apartment, hearing her close and lock the door behind him. The first thing he noticed was the Christmas tree they put yesterday, she had the LED lights that she can control set to purple.

Purple was clearly her favorite color.

His eyes fell to the gifts before turning around and raising his eyebrow. "Presents?"

She chuckled and pointed to her stomach, walking past him to the couch. "Mostly for her. They're from her God mother Ci, a few from her grandparents, and then of course what your dad and grand dad gave me when we were there."

His smile grew a little more. "My baby gone be so spoiled."

"And Chunky according to my physician." Destiny added, sitting down slowly. She inhaled some air and blew it out, causing him to snicker.

"Just keep breathing, just keep breathing." He sang annoyingly, like Dory, joining her on the couch and bending to take off his shoes.

She rolled her eyes, watching him. "You're so annoying. How you ask to come over my house and then decide to annoy me nigga?"

"You annoy me, I annoy you— it's only fair." He shrugged as he sat his shoes to the side before sitting back up and turning to look at her. "How was your day?"

"It was okay. I spent some time cleaning, washing clothes, pre-cooking for tomorrow since I'm having guests, and telling your daughter to stop beating my ass. How was yours?"
