"I still can't believe you really sat there and got your nails and feet done with me earlier." Destiny giggled as she held onto Kayden's hand while he drove them to their next destination.
He just chuckled and looked over at her briefly before putting his focus back on the road, shrugging. "I value good hygiene."
"As you should. I love to see it." She smiled at him before looking out the window.
So far he's taken her out to breakfast at her favorite spot, got her nails and feet done, and even took her shopping. Now they were on their way to the fair.
"You enjoying yourself?" He questioned, when it got silent. The radio was on but it was low so they could still enjoy a conversation.
"Oh so much," She groaned happily, turning back to face him. "Thank you so much for getting me out of the house Kayden. I really needed this."
"You're welcome brat." He smiled, sending her a wink. "But it's not over yet. We still got a few more things to do."
She raised her eyebrow at him, very confused. "What's gotten into you? What did you do?"
He snorted. "Why did I have to do something? I can't just be nice?" He teased, biting his bottom lip.
"I mean you can, I'm just curious that's all. You didn't have to do none of this, I would've been fine just cuddling and watching tv. Not to mention you keep spending money on me. So what's really going on?" She asked, staring at the side of his face awaiting a real answer.
"Don't think of it like that Des, I'm spending money cause I want too. Plus what's mines is yours. If you want me to be honest I did this today because I want us to start finding our routine together. I had a talk with Eli and Brando and they made me realize just how unconventional our path to loving each other was. Kayleigh brought us together, but we fell in love with each other on our own. This whole time we've never been on a date and we needed to change that." He expressed, meeting her eyes. "I don't want what we have to just be based off being Kayleigh's parents, I want us to have it all."
A huge smile broke out on Destiny's face as she leaned over the console to peck his lips. "Awww stink I want us to have it all too."
