Kayden groaned as he sat the last big box down on the floor, before falling on the couch. He was exhausted after moving everything off the U-Haul, thankful to have had help from his Bestfriend's Brandon and Elijah.
"Aye never ever pick a place that has that many fucking stairs— ever again. Or I swear you can count my black ass out." Elijah panted, falling on the floor dramatically. "I think I could just sleep right here."
"You can say that shit again," Brandon breathed out, plopping down on the other couch. "I hate moving. Don't even ask me to help y'all unpack."
Kayden chuckled, covering his eyes with his arm. "Nah I'm giving the rest to God."
It's been 3 months and 6 days since Kayleigh has been born, and after a few weeks of many deliberations, debates, and occasional fussing—Destiny and Kayden opted not to sign either of their apartment leases and finally decided to move into a three bedroom apartment together.
There was no point in living in two separate places, when they woke up and went to sleep beside each other every night. Kayleigh was a full time job— raising hell in the cutest way possible. She required attention from both her parents. She never slept through the night, she fought her sleep even when she was tired, and she definitely picked up on all cry baby habits Destiny had during pregnancy. She was also very choosey about who she acted right for, and who she caused hell with.
Kayleigh was absolutely spoiled.
"You know what? I'm just gonna sit here and soak up all this peace and quiet." Kayden sighed, letting a smile form on his face. Destiny and Kayleigh were at her parents house, while they finished up the moving.
