"Jisung are you ready for the new school year?" Felix sounds way too enlivened for me to bare. "You're really that happy about it?" He nods "New school means new people, new friends and new teachers who don't hate me yet and perhaps we can also have some sort of goodly love story where everyone is desirous of."
All the things I despise.

I suspire heavily, at least one of us is thrilled for our new school. Felix has always been someone to encourage other people and is brilliant in discerning the bright side out of situations.

"And another benefit, Seungmin will also be there." Seungmin is their friend that moved away a few years ago, and at the present, he returned back to Seoul for their first year of high school together. "C'mon Ji stop whining and just enjoy the new view in front of us."

"Yah, Felix I think that we have to go upstairs." I take a glance at the timetable in my hands, 'CR.B201' 'CR' is most likely to mean classroom, and B is probably for the hallway, while the two stands for the floor so the second floor. "I figured it out." I emotionless inform Felix.

We subsequently walk towards our classroom, the door is already closed which makes us assume that we are a bit too late.

We knock on the door to and see our English teacher explaining some things in English. "I sincerely apologize for our belated arrive, we had trouble finding the classroom." I try to explain in English. Our teacher nods that it'a alright, I can tell by his expression that he is impressed by my English. Exactly as I hoped. I smirk to myself and bow towards my teacher. Who explains that we should introduce ourselves.

"My name is Han Jisung, please take care of me." After me it's Felix's turn. "My name is Lee Felix, I'm exhilarated to be here, it's nice to meet ya'll." Our classmates and even the teacher look impressed by the deep tone in his voice.

The rest of the day goes by quite rapidly, and in the end, my notebook is full with notes. Not from school subjects but from lyrics' I wrote in the meantime.

Suddenly a voice next to me appears.

"I'm aware of the cold era around me, the whitewashed clouds in the sky creating funny figures. Together with him I would've been able to laugh but here without him, it feels... unsubstantial. Empty and alo-"

I quickly close my notebook so that the person next to me isn't able to read the rest of the lyrics I wrote down.

"Yah, what do you think you're doing?!" I spit the words at the boy next to me angrily. "You shouldn't leave your personal belongings open like that, everyone could read it and you don't look like someone that would like to share that with others would you?" Damn this kid is good at reading people. "Yeah but most people don't creep up to others like that."

I grab my belongings and pack them in my bag before walking away leaving the boy standing there.

As I thought that the unfamiliar boy had left my presence, he suddenly appears next to me. "Why are you following me?" I ask him being a little bit annoyed, but not thoroughly showing it. "I'm not following you I'm just walking towards the cafeteria which is exactly the direction you are walking to."

I mentally role my eyes. "Whatever."

"Seungmin!!!" Felix's loud, deep voice instantaneously flatters a few tones higher making the students around us peer at our appearance.

I softly chuckle to myself, happy to see our younger friend irl for the first time in almost three years.

We take place at an almost empty table. Almost, there is a boy sitting at the other end of the table, fully dressed in black. Felix is eagerly watching the unfamiliar boy who is quietly doing something on his phone.

The boy's skin is pale and he has charcoal black hair. He glances up a few times creating eye contact with all three of us slowly. His gaze rests on Felix who is eagerly returning the boy's peering eyes. All the sounds around us get numb and the bright light of the lamps above us slowly dims a bit, giving me strange vibes even though the rest of the people in the cafeteria don't seem to notice it at all.

After a few moments the strange boy gets up from his chair, giving my blonde freckled friend one last look before walking out of the cafeteria quickly.

"Did you guys notice that too?" I question

"Notice what?" Seungmin states.

"Nothing, nevermind."

I hope that this was a decent first chapter.😅

Also, I apologize for any grammar and/or spelling mistakes in this book, English isn't my first language please understand that.

For the chapters, I'm gonna probably going to do a sort of switching system if that makes sense(?) I kinda mean that I will write a poem in between every real chapter. You could see that as lyrics' Jisung wrote down in his notebook.
