Minho POV

———

Pain, blood spattered all over my face and body, darkness surrounding me and a location that is in the middle of no where. That's how my trip to Jisung has been going since I left about an hour ago. Of course something had to happen to get me sidetracked once again. I stumble, it feels like my bones are just sticking out at this point. But I keep going. I'll keep going until I fall down, panting and gasping for air.

I must've lost those guys that were following me because no where around me is a sound to be heard. It's quiet. Too quiet. No voices, no wind, not even leaves under my feet being heard. It's like a little bubble, no sound at all. Only the sound of my own breathing.

Even the storm seems to have stopped for a bit. At least the sound of the storm has stopped, rain still drizzles down at me every second.

I've been running for a shit load of time now with a lot of pain and the fact that I haven't eaten the entire day is great too. My stomach growls loudly, all tho I don't feel it exactly, the fact that I'm basically half human make my numb feelings being able to feel slightly sometimes. Hunger is one of those cases that I feel extremely much. Vampires usually don't feel a lot mentally and physically but in some way it all makes up to humans by feeling pain in other ways that I'm unable to explain myself.

My pace has become slower and my legs feel weaker. My breath has been caught in my throat and my heart feels like it's about to jump out of my chest. But I still keep waking.

The buildings seems to be getting closer and closer every second. Still no sounds are being heard around my aching body.

Just when I reach the side of the building, a movement catches my eye and a fish-like smell intrigues my nostrils.

Fuck a skin-walker.

I try to hold my breath and to not create any sound. Skin-walkers are the best to just and avoid if you can.

Skin-walkers are also known as 'shapeshifters.' They're harsh creatures who show no sign of any mercy.

Apparently some of them have settled down in this area. Another reason to get Jisung out of here.

I silently watch as the figure runs away rapidly, a loud squeal following their movement. It is in deed, how closer they are, how further away their screams are being heard.

When I'm sure that the figure is gone, I focus back onto the front door, trying to come up with a solution to talk to the younger, definitely how I ended up looking like this and how I would have been able to find his location.

Suddenly, once again, footsteps are being heard. Quite loud ones actually. I slip my head around the corner of the house while trying to figure out who or what is walking there.

The figure knocks on the door, looking around, probably to make sure that no one is looking at them (or it.) I quickly move backwards, two eyes piercing towards my direction. Bright orange eyes in fact. The eyes of a Gumiho. Liver and heart eating foxes (depending on the legends) that can shape shift into humans. For most mystical creatures and humans, their nine tales are unable to be seen without transforming into a fox. But not for me. I can easily see it's nine orange tails shining bright, an era of fire around it.

I'm sure that the Gumiho must have seen me but instead of walking curiously towards my way, it stays where it is, patiently waiting for the door to its house to open. Which takes a while.

But after what seems to be a couple minutes, the Gimiho steps inside the house, my clothing drenched by the storm and even lightning suddenly starting to strike loudly.

Time to search a way inside.
