"Can you get the last box?" My dad asks unpatiently. I nod, "yeah sure dad." I walk downstairs quietly towards my old room. My older brother's room wasn't used anymore since he moved out to go to college a few months ago. He then told me that I could have his room. The biggest bedroom in the house.

I take hold of the last box, it's lighter than any of the other boxes. Since I'm not sure what I put in it, I decide to open it.

I carefully slide the blade of the kitchen knife I grabbed along the plastic tape.

It takes a while to actually get it open since the tape doesn't seem to budge.

Inside the box there's a beautifully brown wooden box with yellow-ish letters on top. The box looks quite old and mysterious. I carefully put the small box onto the floor as I search for a way to open it.

It might be a box, but there's no opening on it.

I decide to go ask my dad, since it isn't mine.

"Dad do you know what this is?" The carved box in my hands shines brightly in the warm shrine of the bright sun that shines from outside the window.

"Yeah your grandpa gave it to me, he said that it was his father's, but he never figured what it actually is. The box has as far as I know never been opened before. He told me that it has been passed on for generations." I nod at my dad's answer. "Maybe I can open it somehow." My dad shrugs his shoulders. "Sure try your best, why not."

After my dad leaves my room I sat down on my bed "Mishibijiw in Ojibwe" the yellow letters on the box read.

I decide to grab my laptop which is somewhere hidden between all the boxes. I impatiently type the name on the box in.

"Underwater panther, the great lynx. It has the head and paws of a giant cat but is covered in scales and has dagger-like spikes running along its back and tail."

"the underwater panther was the most powerful underworld being. The panther traditionally held them to be masters of all water creatures, including snakes."

"Mishipeshu were said to live in the deepest parts of lakes and rivers, where they can cause storms. Some traditions believed the underwater panthers to be helpful, protective creatures, but more often they were viewed as malevolent beasts that brought death and misfortune. They often need to be placated for safe passage across a lake."

Fun all these facts but that still doesn't make sense why it is carved on a random box which apparently has been passed on for generations already.

I decide to search for multiple things. "Dark brown wooden box with yellow letters." "Mystery supernatural box." "Underwater panther box." And a lot more but I still can't find anything about a box.

I sit with my back towards the bright yellow wall of my new bedroom. Yellow, it's all yellow, yellow again.

I randomly wrote this chapter to make it a little bit more mysterious and yeah
