I like to pretend to be an artist, a writer or a musician. I like to pretend that my work is good enough meanwhile those who started later than me get better results. I like to pretend that I have the creativity to create anything myself. And I like to think that copying a few lines doesn't count as cheating. But who am I fooling? It seems like the only one I have to pretend to is myself, others, as they don't care if what I do is real or fake. They don't even notice that I pretend. Even if you're working just as hard or, even harder than anybody else. You'll continue to be compared to those who are better no matter what. Especially by yourself, because to yourself you'll never be enough and will always want more and they will always be better.
