Could the time go any slower?

I lay my head down on my desk, staring outside with a bored expression.

25 more minutes until the bell rings.

Second after second slowly ticks away on the the clock which is safely hanging on the brick classroom wall.

I turn my head back outside, staring at the damp trees and plants. They look so peaceful, slowly moving with the movements of the wind.

Maybe it's better to be a plant.

Everything is better than living like this. If you could even call this living.

20 more minutes.

I turn my head to the back of the classroom where Seungmin and Felix both had to take place. Felix looks about to doze off, and I'm sure he would if Seungmin wouldn't keep nudging his arm every now and then.

10 more minutes.

Just 10 more dreadful minutes until the break.

Soft rain drizzles down from the classroom's window, making the outside world look blurry. Feels familiar, trapped inside and not able to see what happens outside. Everything unclear and unfamiliar. Everything changes shape, color and form making everything uneven and strange. This feeling feels familiar too familiar.

5 more minutes....

BAM

A loud sound is suddenly heard from outside.

BAM BAM BAM

I turn my face towards the window, four birds have flown against the window. While three of the birds try to get up and fly away, one of them slides down a bit before falling on the ground leaving a trace of blood behind.

Yellow blood.

Some girls in my class start to scream while my teacher tries to calm everyone down.

BAM

I jump backwards, another bird flows against the window, this time almost perfectly at my head as if the thing that did this tried to say "you're next."

I rapidly stand up.

"Yah Jisung." I turn around at the sound of my name being called.

"Are you okay?" Felix looks at me worriedly. I turn around towards the window quickly.

Nothing's there.

Was it all just a random dream? Some sort of déja vù?

I notice that multiple people are staring at me so I decide to go sit down again. Felix sits down next to me. "What happened." I quietly ask him as quietly as possible. "What do you mean what happened?" His confused expression says it all, it was just some sort of stupid dream.

I grab my bag from under my desk, the wooden box is packed inside it. I don't remember taking it with me. I notice one thing, the yellow letters suddenly changed into green ones.

"Faeus nonaglacies" I grab my notebook to write it down. I place my bag on the floor, a little big further away from me. The green era suddenly becomes brighter and is now able to be seen through the fabric of my bag. And even though no one around me seems to notice, it does make me curious and a little bit scared at the same time.

How in the world is a wooden box able to change colors?
