I rushed down the halls of the assassin's underground main building, where I had trained and grew up my entire life. A smile lit my face, letting everyone know just how well I had done on my last assignment. I knocked graciously on the King of Assassin's door.
"Come in" he said in a surprisingly kind voice. I threw the doors open and strutted in, making my most dramatic entrance yet. "I have severed the head of the Prince of Doriella's most treasured servant and took the life of his cousin, the Duke. All in the name of you my gracious King" I said in a voice that made it sound as though the words I said had been rehearsed a million times.
Allerin laughed loudly as he walked down and gave me a fatherly hug. "You have done well Ryia. Your next mission will come next week so enjoy your week off and try not to beat up too many drunks at the pub. I don't enjoy being sued." He said chuckling quietly. "Of course sir, have a good day" I said walking out the door. "You as well!" He called after me.
As I exited the room I ran smack dab into Allerin's son Terrin. "Oi! Watch where you're going numbskull!" I exclaimed rather rudely. "Well I see my little princess assassin has returned it's about time I was starting to miss you" Terrin said a sarcastic smile stealing his mouth.
"Don't call me princess, you faggot" I said. I will never understand why he calls me that. Knowing that imbecile it was probably just to get on my nerves.
"Your mouth is as foul as ever, good thing you don't have a mother to kiss with that filthy mouth of yours" he said rolling his eyes. "That's funny considering I know you are just dying to get your mouth on my filthy one" I stuck my tongue out at him for good measure.
"Why don't you just bite your tongue off or better yet I could do it for you." Terrin said smirking insufferably. "Aw, shut your damn mouth you pervert!" I said walking off as he burst out into a fit of laughter.
"Something funny?" I asked threateningly. "Oh, just that usually these conversations end in a huge brawl. Your getting better at controlling your temper Ry" Terrin snorted letting me know that that wasn't a compliment, not in the slightest.
I walked back ten paces to the point that I was standing merely a foot away from him. That was when I swung my fist and when he was busy deflecting me I brought my foot around and knocked him flat on his butt. "Well as nice as this conversation has been I think I shall be headed off. Try not miss me too dearly would you." I asked over my shoulder, laughing nearly silently.
Even though I would have another job in only a short measly week I was looking forward to my break after all I don't enjoy killing I do it for the money and that is that. I would never kill anyone if I didn't have my own reason. Never.
