It felt great when Terrin came to save us, but now things were getting bad again. We tried to escape, but Ryia got a giant gash on her leg that was probably infected, and of course, Simon found us. This just wasn't my day. "Hello brother, it's been a while" said Terrin. Simon laughed and said, "yes, I'm so glad to see you, little brother. But I must say, I didn't miss you a bit".

Simon walked around us and said, "now now, what do you think your doing with my little fiancé?" Terrin growled and said, "she'll never marry you, not if I can help it!" Simon laughed. "Well then, I guess you'll just have to fight me for her" he said. Aaron stood protectively in front of me, and Terrin charged at Simon.

As soon as Terrin got close, Simon waved his hand, and a ball of shadow shot at him. But Terrin obviously knew his brother very well, so he dodged it. Simon shot another ball of shadow from his hand, and once more, Terrin dodged it. Then, Terrin swung his sword at Simon. It cut through Simon's skin, and a large gash appeared on his face. Simon didn't even flinch. Instead, he laughed. Black mist steamed from the cut, and when it disappeared, the cut was gone.

"You should have known that I could do that, brother" Simon said with an evil grin. "Yeah, well you didn't know that I could do this!" I said. I charged at Simon and shot a ray of shadow at him. He was lunged across the room. I had no idea how I did it. I just thought it would be cool to see, and it happened. I was beginning to learn to control my powers.

Ryia fell to the ground in pain, and Leo helped her up. "Get her out of here" I said. Leo nodded and carried Ryia down the stairs. I hoped that Leo could find his way out on his own. I walked slowly over to Simon, who was struggling to get up. I thought of a long and powerful sword, and it appeared in my hand. It had a long black blade, and black mist rose from it.

When I reached Simon, I put the sword up to his throat. "You may as well surrender now" I said. Simon laughed and said, "I'm just getting started". He disappeared into shadow dust. I scanned the room, but their was no sight of him. "Damn" I said under my breath. "We should get out of here wile we can" said Terrin. "Oh, I don't think that's going to happen" said Aaron.

We turned around and faced him. He was walking towards us, and his eyes were pitch black. "Oh no" said Terrin. "Aaron! What's going on?" I said. Aaron laughed. "Simon possessed his body" said Terrin. I gasped and looked at Aaron, who was standing right in front of us now. "You can't bare to fight the one you love, now can you, Alexandria?" Aaron asked. He laughed evilly.

I took a few steps back. I couldn't fight Aaron. I wouldn't. But just as I thought of that, Terrin charged at him. They fought, swords clashing. "Your stupid, brother! If you possess the body of another, you become weary of your magic. The only thing you can do now is leave his body" Terrin said. Aaron laughed. "You may think that I'm worthless without my magic, but don't you remember our combat training?" He asked. He laughed again, and they continued fighting.

I stood there, worthless, with nothing to do but watch in horror. But suddenly, Aaron slumped to the ground. Black shadows radiated from him. "Aaron!" I screamed. I ran over to him and knelt next to his body. But suddenly, I felt something push in my head. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. I got up and walked towards Terrin. But it wasn't me who was walking. I couldn't control my legs, yet they were moving for me. 'What's going on?' I thought.

I laughed, but I didn't want to laugh. My body was being controlled. Simon possessed me.
