We walked together down the hallways and into the throne room, where our parents were waiting. Also, Prince Laithen was there, along with his parents. Just great. "What is it, father?" I asked. Dad looked at Laithen, than back at me. "We have decided that you two will be married at the end of this week!" Said father. My eyes grew wide with shock.
"No! It's too soon, I don't want to!" I said. Father's expression grew angry. "Alexandria, I don't want to argue with you anymore than I already have" he said. "Father, please just listen to me! I don't want to do this!" I said. "Why, Alexandria? I know I've only known you for a day, but I think I'm in love with you" said Laithen, taking my hand. Ryia laughed. "Your so full of shit it's coming out your ears!" She said. I snatched my hand away.
"Ryia's right. You can't fool us" said Rowen. Laithen made a fake frown. "What makes you say that?" He said. I groaned. "Your highness-I mean.....dad, please. Don't make Alexandria do this against her will" said Ryia. "Atheena, don't argue with me. I already have Alexandria to do that" said father. I growled. The shadows circled around my feet, but I was too angry to care.
"You don't care what I think, do you? You don't care what anyone thinks! You only care about yourself!" I yelled. Before he could say anything else, I ran to my room. I didn't care that Rowen and Ryia were following me. I ignored them. I ignored everything. I ran in my room and slammed the door shut. "What's going on?" Asked Aaron, sitting up in his bed.
"Everything! Everything is going on!" I said. "May I ask what happened, your highness?" Aaron asked. "Just call me Alexandria, that's an order" I said. "Alright...Alexandria. So what happened?" He asked. "Father is making me marry Laithen at the end of this week. I can't do it Aaron, I just can't!" I said. I sat on the floor and cried. It wasn't like me to cry, but I couldn't help it. I was being forced to do something against my will.
Aaron got out of his bed. He helped me up and said, "it'll be alright. We'll find a way to figure this out". I smiled and said, "thanks, Aaron". Then, I heard a knock at my door. "Please open up, my love" said a voice. Ugh, Laithen. I groaned. "I don't want you to be upset with me, but I just love you so much!" He said. I heard him chuckle. "Bust off, loser!" I heard Ryia say.
"Open up, Alexandria" said Rowen. I hesitated, but opened up the door. Before Rowen and Ryia could come in, Laithen shoved his way through them and waltzed into my room. "Well, I didn't know you had to share a room with this fool. That worried me. Maybe you should stay with me instead, my love" said Laithen. He chuckled. I yelled in fury.
"That's it! I want out! I want to go home!" I yelled. Then, shadows surrounded me. "Alexandria!" I heard Rowen say. Then, I felt somebody grab me. I screamed. But suddenly, the shadows disappeared, and I was in my room. But not my room in Dorellia, but my room in Talahan. And Aaron was with me. He must have grabbed on to me.
Somehow, I warped myself to Talahan.
