I flopped down on the cushy bed feeling more useless than I ever had in my life. There was nothing I could do but wait and see what tomarro brought arround. My mind had been working over drive trying to figure a way out of here but there was no way out unless I could grab on to somebody while they were shadow warping but all of the people who came in here were especially carreful to make sure that I couldn't escape.
Everything I had learned and everything I was able to do was all useless because when they came in they cast a shadow on the room so I couldn't see a thing and the darkness only left when they did. I was useless in there home territorry. Though it had only been a couple of hours since I had woken up here it felt like days.
The real thing I was dreading is if and when king Simon would return. He was dangerous enough being a royal but the fact that he has had his whole life to train in shadow weilding and I had only been messing around with fae magic for few months was more than a little disconcerning. My head spun with the thought of having to face him in battle.
So here I sat on the bed going out of my mind. Then something occurred to me if I couldn't do anything this woud be a lovely time to cach up on my sleeping cycles. Now many people may hink that I'm going crazy just for thinking that and they might be right but I have nothing else to do and if I keep sitting here and thinking about it was only goig to insure that I jump off the deep end.
After taking a bath I checked the wadrobe for a night gown. I ended up with a simple loose black nightgown. When I had positioned my self in a warm comfortable spot I thought about my friends and family. I wondered if Leo got out all right and was able to tell someone that I had been taken by the verrine kingdom. What were the doing right now? Maybe they would be on their way to find me ot maybe they were laying poker.
My mind worked none stop thinking of senario after senario. I was about to jump out of the bed and get myself some water when everything went black. "I'm back, love" Simon anounced as he let the shadow disapear. "I wish you weren't" I mumbled into my pillow. "Hmmm. Why don't you come over here and welcome me with a hug?" Simon asked. "Because that would envolve moving from this verry comfortable position" I answered groggily.
"Do you think someone is going to come to take you away, fae princess? When are you going to learn that no one will be able to find you unless they are skilled shadow warpers? I made sure to build this folding cell somewhere you and your friends could never get on or out of unless I let them. You see my little fairy there is no way out not ever" he said holding my face so that I was forced to look into his eyes.
He took two steps back and then dissapeared into the shadows. Was he right was I really never going to get out of here?
