Alexandria was passed out and Aaron insited on being the one to carry her while struggled to put as much distance as we could between us and the castle. All too soon the sun started fading. We set up a makshift camp there weren't much supplies left. Two raggedy tents, luckily we still had seven sleeping sacks (you couldn't call them bags anymore). I insisted on letting Aaron, Rowan, and Alexandria share one tent while Laithen, Leo, and Terrin shared the other while I took first watch.
The night was warm which rather supprised me, considering it was still fairly early spring. Filling with nervous energy I padded around the camp making sure that no one would be able to sneak up on, which was rather challenging considering we were in a dense and dark forest. I fell back down on a long with thump.
I was still restless, I had to do something, anything, or my head might explode. Walking a little farther away from the camp than I probably should have I wrapped some of the ripped cloth from my tunic and wrapped it around my hands. I then did something rather stupid, I started using a large oak tree as a wrestling partner. I threw punches and kicks, I flew backwards dodging invisible blows.
Hearing a twig snap behind me I turned swinging my arm in a right hook. Terrin, fell backwards dodging my blow. Chuckling softly I held my hand to help him up. "You know if you wanted a fight you could have just asked nicely" Terrin said shaking his head slowly. "You know if you wanted to scare the crap out of someone you should choose someone who can't beat the snot out of you" I smiled tauntingly.
"Is that a challlenge?" Terrin asked smiling vicously. I gave him a once over "not much of one" I said. "Oh that's it, you're going down" Terrin said launching himself at me. We wrestled for about a solid hour before heading back to camping arguing. "I'm sure I had you pinned down for at least ten seconds, which according to the rules makes me the winner" Terrin accused. I shook my head "We weren't going by rules or we would have had to start in a starting pose".
After Alexandria woke up we packed up camp. "Hey you ok?" I asked Alexandria cautiously. "Yeah I'm good, thanks" she had been rather quiet since the castle, though no one could blame her. I couldn't imagine how must feel having someone else control your body. The mood was so quiet that it was only broken when Terrin made a jab at Laithen.
"My only question is where was your princely arse when the rest of us were fighting Simon? Huh?". With that a rather sarcastic insult war started that went from funny to annoyingly funny to would you shut up you're giving me a headache annoying. At one point though Alexandria had started laughing so Iet it continue a while longer.
Soon, we had entered back into Dorriella. As we made our way back up the castle grounds we were met with a few warriors who, recognizing us, eyes widened. He leaned down and whispered into Laithen's ear. Laithen's eyes widened "It seems we've been granted the honour of the queen of the fae's presence. Though she is not particularly happy with that fact that her son and new pupil had gone missing". Our eyes went towards Leo who merely scratched the back of his neck, "suprise".
