The ride to the castle was filled with bickering, insults, and sexual comments. At one point in the ride when we stopped at a well Terrin made a joke about the scar on the left side of my face that went from my cheeck to my chin now he has a bruise on right side of his face.

Soon we had reached the castle, there was someone there waiting to greet us. As we neared I saw that it was a young girl with blonde hair and emerald eyes the way she was dressed hinted that she was a maid. I mounted off my horse and Terrin did the same. Guiding the horse toward the young girl I handed her a letter with the royal seal on it. "This is our invitation, here" I said.

"Yes of course, I'm here to tend to your steeds if you'll come with me our prince has cleared his morning schedule to show you the castle" the young girl said taking the horses reign and walking toward the stables. "Yes thank you verry much miss" Terrin said.

We both wore long black cloaks and leather boots and and wore black riding pants and a white button up shirt. The young girl's eyes lingered on Terrin and I suppose he was something to look at with his wavy raven black hair left to grow slightly wild, his porceline skin shined like moonlight, and his eyes were midnight blue. He really did have the looks of a ravishing dark night.

I on the other hand had straight black hair that would rest at my waisrt if it weren't for the fact it had been pulled back into a loose braid, my skin was nearly ghost pale, and my eyes were a lively blue outlining a firey amber that closed around my pupil. Though my face was mostly hidden by my hood at that time.

The young girl stoppped taking both reigns in one hand she pointed towards a magnificiant two door entrance. "The prince should be in there waiting for the two of you". I turned to thank her but she was gone. "Well come on Ryia we shouldn't keep the prince waiting should we?" Terrin asked scalling the stairs. I rolled my eyes and followed after him.

When we had entered the building to find ourselves starring down a large corridor where a boy with auborne hair, honey tann skin, and emerald green eyes stood. The boy wore a nice new looking suit with a crisp white shirt, navy blue pants, navy blue bow tie, a navy blue tail coat, and shiny new black leather boots. In other words he looked like a total priss.

"So I take it you are the two gaurds we hired from the Assassin's kingdom?" prince Laithen asked inspecting his nails. "Yes we are" I said bowing. "Wait your a girl?" the prince questioned. "Yes I am female" I said patiently. "They said they were sending their best two warriors" Laithen said. "Yeah. Best" I motion to my self "second best" I motion to Terrin.

"I was disapointed in that one as well" I said motioning to Terrin. "Hey. Rude!" he exclaimed. I roll my eyes. Prince Laithen sighed. "Well then you will be Princess Alexandria's gaurds during the day. You will share the room next to hers." prince Laithen said. "So we are glorified babysitters, great" I muttered under my breath.

Soon enough we were given a tour around the castle. "Excuse me but when are we goign to start gaurding the princess?" Terrin inquired. "My fiance will be coming in tomarro" prince Laithen said. thre rest of the day went by in a flash. The sun had set by the time we had gotten into our room.

"You know any other young man might take adventage of this situation" Terrin said throwing himself down on the bed next to mine. "You would to if you didn't know that I can kick your ass" I said laughing as I headed towards the bath room with a towel and nightgown thrown over my arm. When my bath was done I fell onto my bed and passed out.
