Meeting the princess went different from what I thought. For one she looked allot like me like its not even funny. Another thing is that she has spunk. That day went by rather uneventful except for when Alexandria started listing way to take down Laithen. I tried so hard not to laugh but, alas my effort was in vain. Most of the day Terrin and I slacked off and bickered under our breathes.

Soon a pompous looking butler walked into the room. "Princess Alexandria of Talahan, Prince Terrin The Assassin's kingdom, and Miss Ryia of The Assassin's kingdom, you are all requested in the main dining hall for a formal dinner in one hour" the butler said bowing and leaving the room. "Whelp better go get ready for some fancy dinner or whatever" Terrin said pushing himself off the wall and exiting the room. "See you at dinner, Alexandria and hold down the fort Aaron, would you?" I said following Terrin out of the room.

After taking a long hot bath I threw on my favorite dress. The dress had a brilliant teal skirt and a beautiful black corset lined teal ribbons and loose black sleeves. Pulling my hair back into a fancy looking bun that let a few tendrils of black hair fall onto my neck, I didn't bother covering my scar with make up they all knew what I was anyway. I put on my worn out, comfy, black leather boots then joined Terrin who was now wearing a midnight blue suit with a silver bow tie and worn black dress shoes.

Since Princess Alexandria was being escorted to dinner by prince Laithen, Terrin and I made our way down by ourselves. We got lost about five times resulting in us being the last ones in the dining hall. When we finaly got there Terrin and I bowed deeply as our names were announced."We are sincerely sorry for being late. I got us lost about five times on our way here" Terrin said politely.

As we sat down a young man sitting next to princess Alexandria stared at my face intently guesing from his looks he was her brother Crown Prince Rowen. "Excuse miss Ryia may I have the pleasure of knowing were your parents are from?" prince Rowen asked skeptically. "I'm afraid I don't know you see my earliest memories are of being sold in the black market and being bought be the Assassin King" I said holding back sarcastic remarks.

"I am very sorry I had no clue. I hate to intrude further but would you be as kind as to tell me how you got that scar on your cheek?" he asked catching the eye of his father both seeeming to have a silent conversation I could not pick up on. "I am afraid I don't know. I've had this scar for as long as I can remember" I said skepticism leaking into my voice.

"May I ask where you got your name?" the king of Talahan asked seeming to be genuinely curious. "From the assassin King" I said feeling awkward. The mother seemed to catch on "One question if I may do you have a birth mark on your right shoulder one of a blood red flower?". How did they know how could they possibly know that. I clutched my right shoulder.

"H-how on earth could you possibly know about that?!" I exclaimed. "May I see it" the queen of Talahan asked walking towards me. "S-sure" I muttered pulling my sleeve down so that the whole table could see my birth mark. The king and queens of both lands gasped as did prince Laithen and prince Rowen. "Its her, Its Atheena" the queen of Talahan said surging forward and wrapping me in her arms.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused out of my mind. "Well this is hard to explain, have you heard of princess Atheena?" Rowen asked. "Everyone has the stolen princess of Talahan presumed dead fifteen years ago." I said still not getting it. "I am almost sure that you are Atheena" prince Rowen said cautiously .

"That can't be right I'm an assassin not a bloody princess" I said shaken. "Ryia calm down, here my father told me to give this to you when you found out." Terrin said handing me a letter. I opened it carefully.

Dearest Ryia,

You are princess Atheena of Talahan. I am sorry for not telling you sooner but let me explain. When I saw you on the black market, my cousin's own daughter I couldn't leave you there so I stopped and bid for you, when I had won I took you back to my home to clean you up and present you to my cousin as a sign of truce. Then I saw you smiling with the maids and laughing with them as you helped them clean the room. From that moment I knew that a princesses life wouldn't be what you want. I took you in and gave you the name Ryia, meaning graceful. When you got older and took to weapons like a bird to flight I made you trainee. I couldn't give you back to a kingdom that had lost you once. Not when I adored you so much. Please understand I only did this because I love you. I selfishly love you.

Sincerely, Allerin

"Its true I'm a bloody princess." I said letting the letter drop to the floor. "Terrin you knew this whole time?!" I exclaimed. "I've only known since the beginning of this mission it came as a shock to me too" Terrin said looking guilty. "So you are Atheena. You are my little sister?" prince Rowen asked his eyes hopeful. "It looks that way" I said trying to wrap my mind around this. I had a family.

"What the hell is going on here" Alexandria asked. Sighing Queen Isabelle took her to the side. In a few seconds she yelled "I have a twin sister who was stolen at birth and you guys never told me!" she exclaimed angrily. "I can't believe this I have an assassin for a twin sister" she said. "It's news to me too I mean, I grew up as a maid and then an assassin prodigy and the whole time I had a royal family" I said wearing myself out just thinking about it.

"May I ask you something Athe-I mean Ryia do have the fae queen's ability to control the elements?" Queen Isabelle asked cautiously. "Uh here I'll just show you" I said holding my palm face up. Forming the flower in my hand I blocked everyone else out, I set fire to the flower, then froze the flames and broke the ice into tiny shards and wipped them up into a miniature tornado.

"You can use all four ellements, the fae blood must run strong in your veins" Queen Isabelle said as the two kings walked off in conversation. "You never told me you could do that" Terrin said watching me in awe. "I never could find the right time to" I said. Rowen walked up to me and said "I know it might by a little late but I hope you can see me as an older brother" he said. "Thanks I guess" I said feeling awkward I'd never had a brother.

I looked over to Alexandria who was only starring down at her hands as shadows leaked out and spilled onto the ground and envoloped me in the darkness. As I opened my eyes I couldn't see a thing. I started to hear whispers the sound was nearly maddening I clutched my ears and fell to my knees as my insticts took over and I set myself on fire.
